EPONA PLAYABLE CHARACTER CONFIRMED
Have I got the hang of GAF speculation yet.
Mm, not bad. 8.8 out of 10.

Linkzg said:im starting to think SSBB will have 3 or more Zelda based stages (or, more like it better have 3 or more Zelda based stages)
this could be for an updated Hyrule castle stage (with the caves on the bottom tweaked), then they need a Twilight Princess one (I think this would be cool, but with a changing background or something to that effect), then a Wind Waker one on Dragon Roost Island or on Tetra's ship.

"Hyrule Stage"
This is a very unique and special stage, and Zelda fans are in for a treat. The platform goes through a "time vortex" that travels between every major Zelda game...in chronological order!
As the Brawlers reach each new time period, a new landscape is depicted. Here during Ocarina of Time, we see the battle go from the raging lava Fire Temple to a stampede at Lon Lon Ranch.
Could that be the Temple of Time? Who could that dark figure in the shadows possibly be?
Favorite character from each era will also make an appearance as the stage progresses. Lookout for that wave, Tetra!
Yes, even a certain 35-year-old fairy makes a brief cameo!
That sounds just like something you'd find on the site :lolTSA said:I can see it now

Did you see the page with the number of people contributing? Holy crap. I really hope to see something like Smash Bros. DX Concert Official for this game. The orchestrations were awesome.Shard said:This game will have the greatest soundtrack of all time.
Oblivion said:To expand on what I said a bit, the only really good tracks in Melee were Fountain of Dreams, Hyrule Temple (Zelda 2), Hyrule Temple (Fire Emblem), one of the multiman melee tracks, Mute City....and that's about it, I think.
Everything else was forgettable, and some of the new arrangements were just really botched, such as Saria's Song, and (to me) Mario 3.
justchris said:Fail what? Okay, no, it wasn't mentioned in game, it was in the manual. Sorry, I still read the manuals to all my games to this day, because they used to actually contain useful story tidbits and I was a reader before I was a gamer. When I get home, I can find the proof for you.
Zerodoppler said:Another fantastic update. If you guys still want orchestrated music in this game after hearing these arrangements you are ******* insane.
TSA said:Impa didn't send Link to find the "seven" princesses.
To recall:
Ganon invaded Hyrule. Princess Zelda hid the Triforce of Wisdom in eight fragments throughout Hyrule in dungeons and left behind a Triforce Guardian to protect each (yes, those bosses were put there by Zelda, not Ganon). Before Ganon capture her, she had her nursemaid, Impa, flee to find a hero to save Hyrule. Ganon captured Zelda and learned Impa had fled. Sends his henchman after her. She would have fell in a remote corner of Hyrule, if not for the passing of a valiant young warrior named Link. After Link saved her, Impa revealed the plight of Hyrule. Link must collect the eight fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom in order to confront the evil wizard Ganon atop Death Mountain and save Princess Zelda and free Hyrule.
That's the story of the first game, in a nutshell.

An OoT stage just became more likely. Sheik's still out.dfyb said:so now that an ocarina of time song is confirmed, are all the "SHIEK IS DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY GONE. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!" people shutting up?
edit: i expect the characters that are leaving will be more like pichu and roy, who are pretty much just gimped versions of other characters.
