I don’t know I don’t take gaming forums seriously enough to care who leaves or who stays.

If I decide to leave this place I just stop visiting the site and that’s it…..there is no need for me to announce it.
But... you just announced that you'll never make an announcement!

Probably OP has something else going wrong in his day or his life to bring him to the edge of making an ass of himself. It's a good time for a reminder to just take a step back, shut off the monitor, go for a walk when you're feeling like that.

For what it's worth OP, I agree that emulated BotW looks better than the Switch 2 version, even on a mid-range PC.

Oh, so that's the reason for this tantrum.

At the end of the day, this is Evilore's playground, so we play by his rules. Simple as.

Goodbye threads are always interesting because they don't really happen in any other setting. You're never at a restaurant and someone stands up clinks their glass, and then announce to the entire restaurant that they're leaving and no longer coming back because they didn't like the service.

Why do people feel the need to publicly account suicide? It's just absolutely bizarre...
Like some random bloke yelling to you across the street about the type of breakfast he had...

both weirdos getting account suicided by making a thread about it are completely stupid and weird with the lamest reasons. One is because people prefer Sony more than Microsoft and now this is because a mod edited their post? So they decide to get so mad for such little reasons that they’ll rather get ban wtf lol???

The Switch 2 reveal sure fucked up the mind of a lot of people.

It's just a console, people. It's neither the Anti-christ nor the second coming of Christ...
It was Tariff day, i believe that screwed everyone up. Nintendo was the poster child for it, because they announced Switch 2 on Tariff day. Bad day to announce a product.

I’ll be surprised if there is not more of these threads in coming weeks, should the tariffs continue and take effect.

I agree a mod edit saying mod edit (i.e. "Mod Edit: Replaced OP's first image with a higher res picture") would have been in better taste. I certainly would've been frustrated if someone changed my post without leaving a note at least. I don't think I'd blow too big a gasket over this though - The edit was made in good faith to fix what was by admission a poor comparison. At most maybe a DM to somebody asking they mark their changes next time.

This narcissistic need to bitch out publicly is so lame. Just go lol. When it’s my time, I’m outta here like a fart in the wind.

Just like my dad.

What's weird is that posts with edits used to be marked with 'edited' or when it's a mod 'edited by moderation' (something to that effect), he's post appears as if it hasn't even been edited. I agree, if a mod does make an edit, it should at least state it was edited by a mod. 🤷‍♂️

Are mod edits concealed now?

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
So a mod replaced your low resolution image with a high resolution image that actually represent whatever you was posting better...
But that didn't work to your advantage as your original message was distorted to your will and it clarified it to reality.
And you're upset about it.
I don't know what you want me to say other than..

That’s one of my favorite things to do on IGN. I make some comment a lot of people add a Like to, and then I edit it to something terrible and offensive. Making it all look like they Like something offensive. Ha

I linked a tiny screenshot from an IGN article and a screenshot from a post on Reddit showcasing a mod. Apparently the resolution was low that it did not faithfully represent the game. For the record, I have no way of telling on the mobile version of the forum… it all looks relatively small and linking is difficult enough as is. Plus, like I mentioned, it linked directly to IGN’s article (I didn’t upload my own version or anything of the sort).

A mod rightfully edited my post directly to change one of the links, linking to a new site now (Nintendo’s), so now apparently only one looked low resolution. They didn’t even leave my original link side by side. This distorted my original message, on my behalf.

It may not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but this approach is not something I agree with. I think users’ posts should not be altered, because I'm fragile. Imagine if X or any social media platform, instead of adding community notes, had the moderation team directly edit user content. This erodes trust and leaves me with little faith in what I’m reading. My post could have been refuted in many other ways, and that would’ve been fine.

That’s why this will be my last post here. I wish everyone well, but this place is not for me.

All the best everyone.
bye bye whiny bitch
