Right before it happened, I thought to myself, one day this bullshit that he pulls will catch up to him, and right after that Weidman knocked him out.

AS deserved it though, was acting way too cocky.

What the fuck am I watching? It actually legitimately looks like he threw the fight. What?

it's like i watched weidman win but not win

it's so odd

Yeah, this is just as bad as when Fedor finally dropped the streak.
Just no hunger depriving the guy who beat him of his proper level of respect due to showing up less than the legend he built up.

Utter bullshit on Anderson's part during and after the fight since he was losing a decision and didn't give it his all...

Whatever Anderson's plans are, the press in Brazil will rip him a new one. That was a stupid thing to do, even if he had beaten Weidman.

Can't wait for the excuses to flow in.

If I had to guess, Mr. White and Mr. Fertitta went to Anderson and told him "we want to go with the Wildman as the future of the company because he's young, good looking, and American." And Anderson agreed to take a dive, give the kid a clean win, give him a glowing endorsement, while moving into some sort of legends role where he'll only do superfights.

oh boy.

or

well done.

i'm not sure which is my correct response.

Absolutely. You are 100% right friend.

I wonder if Anderson was promised his dream match with Roy Jones Jr. in exchange for doing the job for The Wildman?

No. What you see is Silva playing around acting hurt like he did the entire fight with wobbly legs and then at the last second gets caught straight on the chin, falls down lifeless and then gets clocked a few more times.

Oh, wtf at people saying his legacy is destroyed. Come the fuck on........

He lost a championship fight because he was playing around and showboating and got knocked on his ass. Imagine if Joe Montana was dancing around late in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl, causing a fumble that lost the Niners the game. You don't think that would become the lasting memory of his career?

You guys honestly think Anderson/Weidman is a thrown fight? hahaha Give me a break, Anderson fucked around and got caught, nothing shady about it.

Still in shock.

As much as I love Spider, his fashioning himself as a modern day Muhammad Ali definitely bit him in his ass. That an the absence of Lord Segal obviously.

Anderson didn't throw that fight, he was arrogant and cocky and left himself open in front of a guy with a ton of power. He embarrassed the sport tonight with that garbage and got what he deserved

Guys stop with the WWE shit. You sound fucking retarded.

Anderson is 38..

What the hell does that have to do with anything, did you watch the fight?
He took Weidman's ground game without a scratch, and was able to punch and kick him at will on his feet.
38 means nothing in this situation.
It was not even a game plan.

Damn Silva could have had that if he wasn't so cocky.

He could have easily had him if he wasn't overly cocking and showboating. The speed and skill difference were pretty damn apparent. Hell, he could have had him in the flurry he was knocked out in. Weidman was overextending like a motherfucker.

No rigging there, the guy got clipped on the chin and his eyes went back right away. Weidman knew he was gone and was just waiting for the referee to come and stop it, even Herb was surprised at that shot. This is what happens when you have a low fight IQ and have been riding on your gifts as a fighter instead of common sense in a fight. His post fight interview was nothing but embarrassment for him and he couldn't believe he lost.

His head was turned too far to the left in the first place that when that haymaker landed, it rocked him legit. He fucked around, and finally, got caught in his bullshit.

No tinfoil hat garbage.

I thought I'd take this harder than i feel now. Actually I'm glad silva was put in his place for taunting so much. Hope he hangs em up

Cmon guys, it wasnt fixed.

You really think if Dana wanted to fix the fight he would want his BEST UFC fighter (potentially ever) going down like that? playing around and getting caught?

He's gonna be PISSED at the post fight conference.

I really don't think anyone can say he threw the fight, unless he did more clowning than he usually does. You act like an over confident clown in the ring and eventually it catches up to you. No one is supposed to fight like that, period.

No way would this be good for UFC, come one. If it was rigged it would have gone longer.

He was in the crowd, sitting next to Tyson.
