I can give you a short story, back when Seb used to stream battlefield on Sundays for him. A rumor came out that he was rigging the brackets, so that Sanford could win and the winnings would be used to pay the Arc's rent.

I just came across Tekken Revolution. What exactly is this? Tekken Tag 2 just came out last year. Is this a beta for Tekken 7?

People like gossip is one factor.
However, FGs as a business is still in its infant stages and having someone that's really visible doing business poorly can have a negative affect for everyone else. That's often how perception works in general though. It's also the fact he's got a fairly lot of fairly well-liked people in his stable so I think a lot of folks expect those players to be treated well and done right. When that isn't happening some folks get mad. To take that in another direction. the FG community is still somewhat tight knit compared to other groups, in the larger perspective. So it tends to be a bit more of a sensitive spot when someone gets screwed unless they've really done something stupid.
Also, Jailhouse isn't directly associated with VxG. He won a qualifier for the trip.

Besides for the oddity surrounding Jailhouse (which could very well be his fault), everything else is entertainment. Just the way it is. It's one of those situations where if people don't want to be discussed in public, be it negatively or positively, then they should ensure they don't do things that draw attention to themselves.

It really doesn't matter if what follows is true or false, it's just the result of the....not even D-list celebrity status they get in a community. It's normal, it's how social groups act, and to rage against it is to be hopelessly naive or idealistic.
Just sit back, enjoy, and try not to make yourself look too dumb if you partake

If you do find yourself getting worked up by it instead of entertained, just lean back and think of EMP as a tree fort of kids with blankets as cloaks. "Knights" etc. It's really the best way to think of them and to explain why seemingly smart guys willingly join up with them.
It's just a clique with a leader with delusions of grandeur....but the parties in the tree fort are cool, so why not join.

But folks have stated why they don't like him, it's how he conducts business that rubs folks the wrong way. You're looking for answers as to what he's doing that's illegal but that's not what folks are talking about. It's not about him doing stuff that's objectively wrong, it's about how he does it. He's getting EMP to Evo and VxG but that doesn't clear the air of what people feel in regards to how he goes about it.

Except he's openly discussed it many times. Hell, it still may be in sp00ky archives. I'm sure theres IRC logs abound.
Also, and no offense or disrespect to Art, but we're talking about the guy who ran the Cross Counter expose, I'm not sure he gets a pass.

Now I really want a fucking Defense of the Fighters DOTA fighter. Would be fucking epic too bad some of the characters would be really hard to make into a fighter.

Shadow Fiend: Gets more damage on regular attacks the more he hits the opponent. Damage starts to go down the more he gets hit himself.
3 versions of Shadow Raze mapped to L, M, H. Mostly a zoning type character like Dormammu but pure glass cannon.
Presence of the Darklord: Special ability where he taunts the opponent and if they aren't blocking, the opponent takes more damage for a brief amount of time.
LVL3 is Requiem of Souls. It's like a ground only "Inferno" but after the opponent gets hit by it they are slowed down a bit with weaker damage.
Will probably have a "teleport" because Blink Dagger is sort of standard on him. Will have flight mode because he hovers by default anyway.

Right. TMZ-GAF doesn't exist because it's just been mostly folks talking about what's going on out in the FG community. There is no information mongering and hardly any digging for scoops. Most folks are simply talking about what's going on and the information that's put out by other folks.
People are saying his conduct is shady. If you want to explain how it isn't, everyone is listening.
Game reminds me a lot of Arcana Heart but not as good

Imagine getting Feared by Nightstalker while he has Night active. Your regular attacks whiff even if NS is right next to him so all you can do is block until the Fear passes. Oh but you are also slowed because he dropped a Void on you while he is faster than Wolverine in Berserker Charge mode because of the Night. He will probably do mix ups on you all night long.

If they did the game right, you would buy equipment for the character pre-match. Or make it like Red Earth, where you can level up your character over time. Then the items are saved to your character. Characters can openly be used on other machines through a server, but they can only be leveled up when you are logged in as the person who owns the character.

I think in the spirit of the MOBAs, you only level up your character within a match. Rounds would have to be at least 3/5 though and winning rounds give you experience (among doing other stuff).

Tencent, publisher of Xuan Dou Zhi Wang, which uses the LoL style of F2P model, owns Riot, so maybe they'll do an international version of the game? That would be cool.
