I don't think it's just rowdy FGC behavior too, because EVO is one of the more esports of FGC events too, you wouldn't expect fights or lol racist stuff I think. The people commenting will probably be on their best behavior and include Keits, Skisonic, and Ultrachen

Seriously, why would Nintendo of America care enough to actually tell them to not livestream it? And don't they realize that a livestream could only promote the game more? A really cool moment would sell more copies. I bet Capcom sure as hell realized that Daigo's comeback moment in Street Fighter III: Third Strike probably sold a couple thousand copies. Wake up, Nintendo.

this is funniest/saddest thing about the whole situation. they're shitting exclusively on diehard nintendo/smash fans with this. the one group they're banking on to keep their shitty console afloat. personally, i want the game to show up at evo but im more angry at how heartless/ignorant a company can be concerning their fans. my only hope is that evo sent a half-hearted email to nintendo legal, then they gave a canned response back after barely looking at the email, and that this will all be rectified soon.

They've done what Nintendo fans have allowed the to do this whole time. Nintendo has gotten the impression that they can just walk over whatever audience whenever they please. It's just that no one cared when it was Wave Race, F-Zero, Metroid... but now we're in the big leagues with 3D Mario and Smash haha.
