I'm a big Glau fan too but the curse is real.
Grey's isn't a genre show.
Arrow isn't sci-fi either so it is safe.

Eh, not a fan of her.
fuck
Stop with the nerd casting, casting people. With this and Alex Kingston (in one incredibly miscast role), Felicia Day is inevitable at this point isn't she?

same. also felicia day can fuck off too.
the only 'nerd appeal' girl i'd be cool with in here is maaayyybe katee sackhoff. (as a villain)
edit: actually that would be blatant nerd casting too. they won us over with season 1 already. no need to push it further.
I hope the chemistry between Glau and Ollie is palpable and we get some decent hate sex out of it.
Fixed.lol @ ollie having sexual chemistry with anyone besides Diggle

In time, my friend... in time.
And it will be passionate, love sex.
Love Summer Glau.
Never been a fan of the "show killer" talk. I think it's a pretty mean label to give to someone.
The only thing Glau has been on that should have been successful was that Terminator show. Everything else would have to be above high quality to find a large enough niche to excuse the cost of budget. They didn't.
No matter how good those shows might have been, It was no single actors or actresses fault. It was the entire show that determined the cancellation.
Bring on season 2!
Ah yes. I remember The Cape.
So bad.
Besides... if Arrow is going to get cancelled it's more likely to be because it's ratings fell by half by the end of season 1. If season 2 doesn't see a consistent viewership the show might be hurting all on its own.
Yes it was, but I could have easily watched it for a few years.
And No Ordinary Family. Neither was very good, but I like a dorky concept. The Cape a thinly veiled Batman reference, and No Ordinary Family a cliched Fantastic Four knock off.

Always in the top three of The CW.I thought the ratings were going strong for the show
Which is why I said its performance through season 2 will be important. It can't have another 50% slide over this coming season. That's into "death" territory.Shows tend to do that. Perspective is important. As long as Arrow remains the strongest (or one of the strongest) on CW, it is safe.
Very strong for the CW. Sizable drop over the year. Could lead to badness if it doesn't hold. First episode was the CW 4.1 million viewers. By the last episode of the season that viewership had dropped to 2.7 million. The lowest was just over 2 million, but I can't find the exact episode as I'm going through tvbythenumbers.I thought the ratings were going strong for the show
For what is worth, The Cape sucked shit and Dollhouse's writing was on the wall pretty much since S1. Glau only accelerated things. We are safe, bros. Thea is safe.
Sarah Connor Chronicles

Wonder how much if any new footage we'll get out of SDCC this weekend. Better be good!

Ever since The CW's Arrow began last year, fans have wondered when series regular Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance, would make the transition to "Black Canary" (her longtime superhero alias in the source material.) Well, good news and bad news gang, which do you want first?
Good news: According to The Wrap, Black Canary will be joining season 2 of Arrow! Bad news: It won't be Laurel Lance.
Instead, the show's producers have decided on bringing in the "golden age" version of the character and have cast The Pact's Caity Lotz as Dinah Drake.
The character will start the season as recurring one but will eventually make the transition to series regular as she is being groomed to become another love interest for Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen. No word on whether the character will feature her trademark high-pitched scream, but given the "no super powers" rule of the world it seems unlikely.
The inclusion of Dinah Drake makes the rumors that series regular Colton Haynes started a few months ago even more interesting, when he teased that "they might form a team."
