Fighting Games Weekly | July 15-21 | Post-EVO Pillow Talk

Seems like it. I can't punish Bison's EX Psycho with Gen's U1.

Edit: Weren't there other bugs like this with Cody that had to be patched out?

I don't remember if there was, but I'm already planning my trip back to PS3.

My framerate is too jerky with vsync off, even though my fraps says I'm 60 fps.

Mike Ross on not being black..

.@KingofSarus I may not be an over the top sellout like you coonin on streams but police here mark me black as does the rest of the world.

:(
Despite these things, I still prefer practicing on PC only because I'm not at the level where these sort of things make a huge impact on my games.

Speaking of weirdness, aren't Akuma and Ken both -3 after FADC'ing the second hit of their HP DPs? I've had people tell me that, but I can't punish either of them with Ryu's or Chun's super.

Yep. Marvel wants as MANY characters in every one of there games as fucking possible yet Marvel is the one to blame for not getting a patch.

Hell the facebook game got freaking Union Jack in it. A random brit who just uses acrobats, pistols and a combat knife in the game.

Are you missing the fact that Marvel games belong Marvel? Obviously they want their own characters in their own games, duh. Capcom can't get new characters without making a new contract and they can't even choose the characters they want, I don't know how this is even a question, you can blame Capcom for not making a better contract in the first place, but they can't do shit about an IP that belongs to another company.

Pretty sure they're -1. They might be -3 on their backdash though, not sure

The Smash EVO champ is an Eagles fan. +999999999 respect points. Too bad Eagles sucked for the last couple of years. LOL.

He's probably practicing for VxG's tag team big money match.

And yea he's definitely super salty over the Nemo match as was pretty much every American in that room except Hiro.

Last year for the Bifuteki VxG stream, they streamed hours of the SFIV title screen while matches happened on other stations.

YES. That was amazing.
I was massive busy all weekend and was excited to catch what little I could while I had a few spare moments....aaand then that.

It was great
So Pro. Government Money Well Spent.

Lego isn't there own game. It is a published game that uses there IPs. Same for every other game. Each company has to go into a contract with Marvel to develop a game.

The "list" happened after Shuma and Sent due to how many people complained.

And on top of that Capcom NEVER confirmed how BIG the list is.

Also I am pretty positive the list did INCLUDE your favorites, Capcom just didn't use them.

We get it. Marvel- Good. Capcom- Bad.

As holders of the IP rights in its creative works, Marvel has been able to leverage the commercial value of its superheroes through a series of profitable licensing agreements. These agreements define and structure the business relationship between the licensee and the licensor, outlining the terms and conditions by which a manufacturer may produce, for example, a toy in the likeness of a given character.

Nothing happened Marvel didn't want to happen. To the smallest detail.

Still, it's obvious Capcom simply became the first company in the history of ever to flat out bully Marvel into including/not including anything involving their IP

Somebody could ask UltraDavid or something about IP licensing law in general but there's no way to know what went on during the negotiations [apart from what was reported by parties on both sides- as it being very lengthy and highly specific] beyond your assumption of 'Marvel wanted everything everyone wanted/Capcom wanted to take everything away and laugh'

I find it a little easier to believe that Marvel shot down any inclusion of say, Cable or Gambit- as Marvel no longer gives one tiny turd about those characters.
I'd also think it's a bit easier to make LEGO skin versions of hundreds of characters rather than unique models that actually look/sound/act like they are supposed to that aren't just different versions of one mold.

No, Marvel does stupid shit as well.

But what people are saying doesn't makes sense with Marvel's stupid shit.

Marvel's stupid shit is treatment of characters and events and such.

But other Marvel games are getting the favs where MvC3 didn't. Doesn't make sense.

Hence, Capcom seems more likely.

Won't know until Capcom posts the list.

Unless you want to ask Marvel people.

And even then they may say Capcom doesn't want us to tell the public.

Just saying. It doesn't fit in with Marvel's brand of stupidity.
