Yep. It's important to realize that lube isn't the only part of preparation, especially for a first timer. Use fingers first, then spend a few minutes going in a little bit, pulling out when she winces to give her a small break to deal with any pain. Also ensure that around the opening is lubed/wet too, not just it itself. Once she's broken in, the next time will be cake.

You should wait till she's fully relaxed before taking her there next time. It sounds like she's really new to the idea and the type that's uncomfortable with it.
