I actually don't know who would win that match; Viscant is theory fighter extreme, but he's fallen off a bit and isn't top-tier in the execution department (which he's the first to admit). As far as I can tell from the Twitter stuff it seems like Alukard was a dick but Viscant turned it up to 11 immediately, so I dunno man.

I mean, I'm no Master of Marvel Mechanics but Viscant put a lot of stuff out there, as his opinion with fairly reasoned arguments to back up his main points...
Alukard seems to revel in the 'I'm a non-mainstream real dude and only I and everyone around me REALLY SEE the REAL problems' position and yet got very butthurt that Viscant got press for his change ideas when he didn't care enough to put out anything himself.
He says the ideas made him angry, but to discount what he disagrees with with- 'Oh, well this dude is just a 'bad player' he doesn't get what the REAL issues are like me' seems a bit pretentious.
He could easily have written out counter-arguments or just gone out and wrote his completely independent piece about what IS the proper method of balance that would make the game better?
It's really easy to sit there and shoot down everything other people say as 'Oh, you're dumb so whatever' but it really doesn't help anything.
Such a wonderful twitter-slapfest though

Viscants notes are pretty damn good. He has more marvel experience than
most of the people who actively play the game. His references to Marvel 1, and Marvel 2 are great, and he clearly knows not to take away the strength of a character versus removing shit completely.

Viscant isn't always right, but he is smart. He gets what's going on in the game. I've never heard anything theory-related from Alukard. I don't even care which one is the better player. Understanding the game on the theoretical level and understanding it on the practical level are two different skillsets. Theoretical understanding requires an open and creative mind to see how changes would work contextually, which most top player's don't have. Hell, no one who even makes the games we play is great at them, but they still turn out great, more or less.

The guy in charge of fighting games at Capcom USA has said on numerous occasions to the public that the UMVC3 team is disbanded and the developers are working on other titles. If there is a patch, it won't be for a long ass time.
