My answer to this is because the game isn't worth $30 to me.

(Also I heard the DLC is shit, so it's worth $0 to me, which means they're selling a 2.5 year old game with no enhancements or added value for 30 bucks.)

Well for one thing it's a port of 2 or so year old game. Were it $20 I would've gotten it, but $30 is a little too much, furthermore the 'Epilogue DLCs' aren't that good.

I think this happened with RE Revelations as well. The store page was the final version but the demo wasn't ready for download yet.

The PC version features the full console game and its two DLC add-ons - Reverie and Resurrection – plus updated visuals, a new storyline, new weapons and new Titan battles.

Nope. They just wrote the features list using bizarre phrasing. "NEW TITAN BATTLES..." referring simply to the fact that titan battles were new to Castlevania as a franchise, not that they added new content to the PC version.

First of all, I paid for 60fps when I spent a bunch of money on my PC. The devs aren't providing that, that's just a given for a PC game running on recommended specs. Second, I've never heard anyone say anything good about the DLC, and I also don't care about the story in the game.

If I do end up buying the game, it'll be because it's visually stunning, I love character action games, and I want to give the combat system another chance with a higher frame rate and hopefully more legible enemy attacks thanks to better image quality and smoother motion.
