Based on this, I predict PR2 will feature Chinese jaegars in an expanded role.

Hey, kinda like what's happening with Transformers 4, eh? The inclusion of famous chinese actors into the movie.

An animated show that covers everything from the first Kaiju attack to how the Jeager program was conceived and all those Jeagers that we caught a glimpse of in the movie but never saw in action would be tits.

Kaiju Masters still around since nuclear blast only closed the rift, mecha kaiju, more human kaiju drifting, Gipsy Danger 2.0, etc.

EDIT: Beaten like Crimson Typhoon and Cherno :(

Pacific Rim 2: A Wakening of the Trailblazer.

Really great news.

I know they aren't counting this in the numbers above, but I wonder how much money they are making off of merchandise as well.

All of GAF who foretold no sequel based solely on the US and despite those us telling you merchandising + international box office were going to carry it through you can now eat crow

They gotta include some noteable actors from China/Japan/Korea for the sequel. Andy Lau, Hiroshi Abe and someone from SNSD. Boom the sequel will do crazy numbers in Asia.

Yes, this is what I want to see.

Make all the Asian robots awesome too.

We also need Jaegars to combine and create a Mega-Jaegar and fights in space to truly be the big budget Voltron/Power Ranger I need.

I'M SO WET RIGHT NOW.

GDragon and TOP pilot the new Mach VI Jaeger from Unified Korea, named _____ _______.

It's not like they'll have to pay Andy Lau, Hiroshi Abe and some Korean Idol a shit ton of money. Give each 2 million and call it a day, money will rain down from Asia.

Yes. Takeshi Kaneshiro if you want pan asia.

I would love that, but isn't he super picky about his roles? Or at least that is what I read long ago somewhere.

Mexico WB 7/12/13 $5,497,542 39.3% $14,005,588 7/28/13
South Korea Warner Bros. 7/11/13 $8,349,956 47.4% $17,623,549 7/28/13
Russia - CIS Karo 7/11/13 $8,925,667 53.3% $16,738,779 7/21/13

You know what to do Guillermo.
