All I can say is that I hope they keep this up. Would be odd not to since every phase there has been changes and balances, so wouldn't want them to put in another stack of changes and have them be final with no testing.
Dragoon's jumps have shorter cooldowns. Still not enough imo, but a start.
"Jump" is now 40 seconds instead of 60, and does 200 potency instead of the 180(?) before. Actually more damage then leg sweep now.

Don't give up on the fem roe, I think they can work out fine, but maybe thats just me... anyone else on the Fem Roe hype train *tumble weed rolls around*So that's why every Roe I make looks like shit! Bleh.

Spineshatter have been reduced to half (90 secs) , although I don't see still the point of that jump. I think LIfe Surge have been downgraded, it was 20% HP recovery, right?
Spineshatter advances to the mob. It is one of the best things melee dps can have. As well as being an interrupt with the stun. Free from the gcd so will be using it every time it's off cooldown just for the extra damage as well.
And yeah, sad about life surge since it was probably my favorite skill.
What do you guys think?
BTW, gladiator is equivalent to like warrior in WoW?
xivdb.com has data mined skills for all classes, there are actually quite a few changes. Some of the bigger changes (for the classes I play):
PUG/MNK
- Mantra is now 20% (up from 10%) and affect nearby players
- Howling fist is 170 (was 190) potency, but its recast is 60seconds (down from 300)
- Perfect Balance recast is now 160seconds (down from 240)
- Dragon kick also now reduces a target's INT by 10%
- Fists of Fire is a 5% increase in damage (down from 10%)
MRD/WAR
- Lots of Warrior skills have had their potency reduced/increased.
- Heavy Swing>Maim combo potency is 190 (down from 200), bonus is now 20% increase damage (up from 10%)
- Vengeance recast is now 120 seconds (down from 150)
- Defiance is a 30% damage penalty (down from 35%), each stack of Wrath now grants 3% increase healing taken and 2% crit for a total of 15% incr. heal and 10% crit.
- Infuriate recast is now 60seconds (down from 180)
- Inner beast 300 potency - Additional Effect Absorb 300% of the Damage
- Storms Path 250 potency, heal Up to 50% of dmg Dealt and generate wrath.
All around it looks like they've cut down a lot of the really long CDs to the 1.5-2min range.
IMO it should be something more...special or different from just another jump, and it most important fight you don't want to start with a mindlessly stun attack on the boss.
So Life Surge is downgraded, at least evade skill is up to 80% evasion.

Parry isn't direct evasion, you will still take damage from parried hits, just less. So they just made it actually usable now. Keen Flurry I mean. For life surge, yeah it sucks, but we are getting Second Wind as another self heal now as well.
As for spinshatter, not every fight is a boss, and not every boss will require you to just stand behind it attacking the entire time. I can not understate how great an instant movement to target skill is for melee dps. The extra freedom of movement alone gives a ton in fun factor. The utility of being able to go directly to an add with no travel time is just icing for me.
Jump, Spinshatter, and Elusive Jump all are great skills that fit with Dragoon, and each offer something unique and needed. The only bad thing about them is cooldown. If it were up to me, the Dragoon class would be jumping all the god damn time. Basically a melee dps class that can't be kept at range. The worst of their skills is power surge, since its a cooldown that just buffs another cooldown. That is the skill that could use something more/special.

I wouldn't say that. WHMs single target healing is much better and they have regen. Though Succor II is sort of a better Medica II. At first glance it seemed really good in comparison, but I'm starting to see the difference. Kind of sucky that leeches is just Esuna. Do we know how their familiar is supposed to play into this? Amazing optimization since the last benchmark. Scaling on SLI is incredibly good too. My score on the last one was 7400 or so with one GPU disabled.
Having trouble deciding what race to go with. I always go human in MMOs but even with all the options I can't find a look I like... On the other hand I checked out the Elvaan options and I really like how imposing and intimidating some of them can look. Maybe this will be the first mmo were I actually try out some other races!
