Not bad I guess. Darn, :x.

You running SLI'd? Also is your CPU OC'd?

I'm getting sub-8k scores on the benchmark with a GTX 770 and an i7 920 OC'd to 3.8GHz. Wondering if the jump form Nehalem to Ivy/Sandy/Haswell really makes that much of a difference. I know MMO's are generally CPU-bound but that is a pretty huge difference.

White mage chains cure 1-2-3 together when the opertunity calls for it
Has an aoe heal, has a heal over time

SCH focuses on damage mitigation while healing, pet provides support healing
Thanks bby.

I'm so conflicted. My group needs a healer, but I don't know what kind to be!

Nope, everything's stock. Well, unless you count the 660 TI being stock OC'd.

White Mage heals have combos that make them basically free with a potential mega heal stored up for when shit goes bad.

They both have their purposes.

Eh, I wouldn't call them combos, more like procs, 15% chance procs at that.

Even then though, I agree for the most part that they both have their purposes.

Yea, was me being stupid. Since the benchmark is tied to your FPS, having vsync on is a great way to drop the score down. Re-running without vsync nets me about 11.5k.

Some of you guys have beastly computers!

Fauck, forgot I messed around with Character Creator a bit last night then deleted it, now I can't post my magnificent specimen of a Lalafell for you non-Ultros people to see :(

Does someone else have a 6970 (or 2x 6970CF) that can compare results? Mine just seem so low. As if CFX isn't kicking in or something, but it is enabled in AMD's CCC.

Here's mine: http://i.imgur.com/MgEBrpt.png

Here's my PC specs:
Mobo: Asus Crosshair IV Formula
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (overclocked @ 3.8ghz)
HDD1: Kingston HyperX SATA III - 120 GB
HDD2: WD Black SATA II - 1 TB
GFX: ATI Radeon Sapphire 6970 x2 CF @ 900/1400 on both
Mem: 16GB (4x4gb) Kingston HyperX DDR3: 1333mhz @ 7-7-7-20-1T
Sound: HT Omega Striker 7.1
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, x64, SP 1

TIA.

That definitely looks like a single-card kind of score. Has AMD or Squenix confirmed that CF is enabled for FFXIV yet? You might have better luck asking on the beta forums.

We know Nvidia has already activated SLI, because that 20k+ Titan SLI score is fucking crazy and awesome.

So, we'll know the 8th when the beta is.
That means it'll start, at the very, very, very best, the 9th.
UGH.

Looks like PLDs got damage buffs all around.

Also, LNC's Invigorate is 500tp now instead of 300.

I hope they design a lot more gear like the level 50 gear. Maybe it's just me but I love those full outfitted knight look, it's pretty awesome. I can't decide whether the Hyur or Dunesfolk are better, damn it!

It is wrong on several things that I saw on the first pass. Life surge still heals, just down to a maximum of 10%. Blood for Blood is the same, but XIVDB lists the skills as they are at cap, so it is shown with the trait effecting it. Few other random things I'm sure.

Too bad the benchmark doesn't have v-sync. Either way, hyped.

Turning off ambient occlusion bumped my score from 9600 to 11500 though.

Yeah, after refreshing the page looks like hes doing a ton of clean up (doesn't have those LNC mix ups anymore, and the Invigorate buff is properly attributed to the trait.)

River of Blood (trait): Level increased to 48. Chance of Bloodletter CD resetting due to DoT damage on Venombite and Windbite increased from 20% -> 50%

Damn that's big.

Having Vsync would kind of defeat the purpose of a benchmark, which is to see how fast your card can render a scene without any kind of limiter.

I don't want to be a stereotype but those arcanist pet abilities are making it hard to keep my lala from being a mage.

From the datamined class/jJob Ability Changes (Compiled) on reddit by Mrhappy1227

Arcanist Pet Abilities

Emerald Carbuncle

-Gust: 90 potency wind damage

-Backdraft: 80 wind potency knockback

-Downburst: AoE 80 potency

-Shining Emerald: Extends Masters DoT effects by 15s.

Topaz Carbuncle

-Shining Topaz: AoE 70 potency. Increased Enmity.

-Gouge: Single target 70 potency increased enmity.

-Curl: Decreased damage taken on pet by 20%.

-Storm: Delivers an attack for 60 potency that stuns.

Man, I swear some optimization must have been done since the last benchmark because I'm getting nearly 2000 more score. Also, seeing my Taru in the benchmark was pretty neat. Can't wait!
