Just to let everyone know, I run the game in a triple monitor format so I wouldn't achieve that score if the benchmark worked properly with triple monitors.
The game runs fine, but the benchmark doesn't support it. So I have to use 1920x1080 instead of 5900x1200. Either way, SLI Titans will be overkill for this game. Square Enix has done an amazing job with their engine.

I'm downloading the benchmark now and it's taking forever. Does anyone know of a mirror?
It's pretty impossible to do. Even the worst I can come up with looks okay. You'd need a slider type system for that.

This game has JRPG roots though so of course everyone looks badass, cute or gorgeous.
No OC or SLI. Talk about some good job optimizing, SE. As mentioned, 2900 points higher than my score on previous benchmark. Runs great and I don't have to force AA anymore, awesome.

I'm very torn between being a Sun kitty or Moon kitty. The Sun kitty has the beautiful slit irises but the Moon kitty has the ear clasps and the prominent fangs. What kind of kitty should I be? Diurnal or nocturnal? What should I do?

It kinda sucks that you can only be the PLD in this benchmark. It would be nice to see how I looked in the gear of other classes, but oh well.

They could I guess, though it's doubtful. Only one more week till phase 4 anyway, "why bother making this complicated with Sony and the PSN store" is probably the mentality.

I made them both to look the same, so I could compare and decide which I wanted to be.
Their faces are subtly different though. The Sun kitty looks more fierce and feral, the Moon kitty has softer and less aggressive features.
I don't know what you mean by shade of color though?

More I think about it, the more I realize how much of a lose it is for DRG to take PUG instead of ARC. Loose 10% crit rate from a skill you could keep up all the time, as well as the 20% damage buff in exchange for a 20% crit buff with a max up time of 25% of the time.

Her skin color is actually that way for a reason. I spent more time than I care to admit looking for the skin color that I liked the most on both kitties, it was especially hard on the Moon kitty because their skin color options all have a distinct blue push which makes them look more sickly under the daylight scenes in the character creator than their Sun-loving counterparts. They're supposed to be nocturnal after all! All the Sun kitty skin colors make them look like they are healthy and also nicely tanned by comparison.
However so far I have 2 votes for Moon kitty and none for Sun kitty. I do like the face of the Moon kitty better personally.

Has anyone with Steam tried adding the benchmark as a non-steam game? I know with the phase 3 client you could and use the overlay and screenshot functionality. I'm curious if the overlay causes a big performance hit.

Many different factors could effect that, possible higher OC. It's a great score though! I'm ready to get in game though and see the actual results with SLI now enabled.
That's because you keep trying to make you moon kitties light skined. I'm totally of the same (completely subjective and personal) opinion than CcrooK, hence mine:

Sometimes doing open world PvP during Wrath at Wintergrasp.
26 FPS is easy mode for me.

Do we know yet how Scholar/Summoner/Arcanist is going to work with the pets? Like do you manually control what abilities you want to them cast? I hope it's better than the chocobo companions which just had healing/attacking/defending buttons to press. I mean, as a healer, I'd rather have better control over what spells/abilities my pet uses.

Huh, hopefully I'll be able to remember that, when I finally go Crossfire later this year. Figure thats probably one of the, easier upgrade paths available to me, even if there are some driver headaches involved.

Haven't really decided yet. Every MMO I've always rolled female with the same name and such. But that male dance is just so damn good as a troll dance.
I'd go with that first option though.
