2013 High-Res PC Screenshot Thread of Let the JPEG Die Already

sigh... it's time for another playtrough

This is quite a problem with Skyrim, and PCars. Stars do not bokehs make!! They are far too dim. In skyrim, its the enb, and I get it, but in Pcars its just that its a lazy gaussian blur.

I'm curious if there is a game with very visible stars, and bokeh DOF, where the stars don't become bokehs.
^ Or moreover, a game with a quality bokeh DOF filter that incorporates light emission rather than just applying a 2d filter. C3 always seemed nice.. but I think its just cause there are so many glowing particles floating around.

Otherwise nifty shots :P

This one was taken at 2560 x 1440 render resolution which is what I normally play on.

My badass hollow slayer:

Unfortunately my 660 can't handle that res at a playable frame rate. It's too bad because it clearly looks much better. Not that the game doesn't look amazing at the res I play it on.

So.... this is kinda fun. Alright, in Devil May Cry, PlayersOnly freezes everything. Even the player. However, if you attempt to modify your coordinates while frozen, ONLY the camera moves. So you have free camera :)

Problem is, when you exit PlayersOnly, the player coordinates update... teleporting to wherever you moved teh camera.

You can move the camera back to where the player is while in PlayersOnly to prevent that... or I can learn how to code it in the script so it automatically snaps back to the player position.

That last part takes learning. Reckon I ought'a get to it.

Nice! You've just made my post in the compendium today redundant. =)
Looking forward to seeing some shots of the environment with that free camera.

The limbo parts of the game seem to be really hard to get a clear, clean image. There are so many post effects going on.

Anyways, I'm done hacking away at it for one night. Tomorrow I'll try and improve teh script if I have time.

You could try binding "Show Postprocess" to a key command to disable the effects and then tweaking colors to your liking with SweetFx.

Some relaxing chickens...and corn. Great, now I'm hungry!

Hmmm, don't think the forced AA is working.

Nice, this will definitely open things up for some interesting screenshots. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

I tried that postprocess bind alo81 mentioned but it didn't seem to have any effect that I could see. Although I was more trying to get rid of the blur and that was pretty much a non-issue after using playersonly.
