Is there a screenshot or something ?

Of course!

The Luigi reveal came out of left field. My shock and awe disconnected my internet and flooded my toilet. Surprises like these don't come along too often. The year of Luigi continues to be an orgasmic earthquake of unprecedented joy.

That's one way to put it... it was cool. if anything it further proves that Nintendo and Samurai are using these updates as free advertising for certain things which is fine by me. Pretty smart too.

Please help me fight for justice and "yeah" this picture by Romancedawn.

Then afterward please draw your own similar picture asking for DK's roll attack. Then everyone else can rally around it and hopefully get Sakurai and his team to question DK's dash kick that has been inherited by Bowser.

Maybe the Little Mac reveal will happen when Punch U Out!! is announced.

When I look it up, I'll definitely yeah it.

Seriously, does anyone actually like that kick attack? lol

I really hope Luigi uses the Poltergust 5000 in some way, but based on what we know...

-Fireball is still in.
-Side-B is still in.
-Up-B is iconic with his sweetspotted hitbox.
-Taking away down-B would severely cripple his recovery.
-It wouldn't make sense to have a normal use it.

Basically, the only shot the Poltergust 5000 has at being in Luigi's moveset at this point is if it replaces his down-B, but his recovery is gonna need some major adjustments if that happens.

Thank you!

And no, no one likes that kick. The thing is though despite all of the footage and screen shots we have of Donkey Kong, we have not seen his dash attack or Neutral Air, so he may have some new moves. Trust me, the moment he was on screen I analyzed the schnitzel out of it.

Bowser however lost his clumsy dash and it has been replaced with DK's kick basically, only Bowser's is faster and thus more useful by default. I hope DK loses his slow dash as well.

Bowser get's good treatment in each game, better moves, better models each time, and graphically he looks the most impressive so far. DK looks like a slightly better and stinkier Brawl DK.

It's so disappointing to see how Luigi is basically unchanged from Brawl considering the substantial changes on him from Melee to Brawl. It just looks like more of the same which is a shame because Luigi has changed since Brawl was developed.

I would pay obscene amounts of money to have the cast inherit their movesets from Project M. After all DK has been rolling well before Smash was first created.

I've learned not to get my hopes up too much when it comes to this franchise though. Just enjoy what Sakurai decides we're worthy of playing with. :)

happens.

His forward-B and up-B aren't enough? Some of us are unable to mash the button fast enough to make the down B a useful recovery.

Right now Capcom's digging a deep hole for themselves. They love to contradict choices and make weird decisions nobody wants.

I'll try not to stray off OT too much, so um, who's not expecting a Luigi screen tomorrow? :P

As much as I love Hunter being playable, I still have a hard time coming up with a recovery move for him. It's not like he has the technology Snake has to help him recover. He doesn't even have a whip for tether recovery; Hell he can't even jump properly on his own lol

Despite of what I just said, I still think the humor and comical side of Monster Hunter would fit perfectly in SSB.

One can only hope.

Yeah, that gameplay video when we saw all of his moves was very revealing

I made a post in the other thread, where i thought about by DK has not a roll in SSB:

Well, there was only one game in the last years, where Luigi used the Poltergust 3000, and much more games. where he is just jumping and running like Mario. He is still a very unique character in Smash and many people like his playstyle.

On my way to yeah your post, I came across this. I swear the majority of the Miiverse lives in an alternate dimension or something.

Also funny I somewhat feel the opposite regarding Bowser and DK. The Wii U artstyle is taking a looooong time to grow on me.

Yeah I remember that. I responded way back when but I wasn't sure if you saw my post. How would you explain Sonic's rolling then or even trickier Yoshi's egg roll? Maybe you explained it all and I just couldn't make the connection.

By the way who are you on Miiverse? I want to follow you, pretty much out of friend space.

@ MrSaturn - That girl had me cracking up yesterday! A finger! It's because she seems genuinely upset, she had my dying. But then she kept saying really silly things and I got annoyed with her posting.

If only it would apply to all character reveals, i dont think it will though. that's a great name for the wiiu title BTW.

I don't expect all reveals to be tied in with games, and sadly, I don't even expect a new Punch Out!! game. The series has a spotty release history, and even though the Wii title was a success, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo remembers to ignore the series, alongside it's mostly western fanbase. I'm a jaded Punch Out!! fan and I am still waiting for Punch Out!! 64 and Punch Out!! Cubed.

I would prefer that Nintendo star punched my cynicism. I would gladly eat a green boxing glove on this point.

Oh man, a new Punch-Out!! would be a system seller for me.

I mean, like, Smash? Yeah, that's cool, but I can live with the 3DS version. Punch-Out!! I would buy in a flash, easily one of my favorite Wii games.

Which is really the main reason I want to see Little Mac here. That game alone was quality enough to deserve a slot, even ignoring the series' long history and countless other cross-media appearances.

The positive part of being a cynic when it comes to the things you love, you're either correct or glad to be wrong.

This spin is more perfect than Super Macho Man's spin punch. I enjoyed reading that. Thanks, I love it when the internet welcomes positivity.

Nintendo is spoiled with killer franchises. They have several system sellers for me and Punch Out!! is definitely one of them. I don't expect a new Punch Out!! game, but I am fairly confident Little Mac will finally be air dodging and smashing like a champ soon enough.

Final Smash. Replace the creepy green dance with a poltergust reversal, releasing ghosts onto the arena.

Wii Fit Trainer would be cool with Jigglypuffs Rest-Attack. She goes into her enemy and have there inner balance EXPLODE.

3DS version cancellation confirmed.

But we did see Luigi on 3DS. Was Luigi developed before or after WFT, Villager, Olimar?

Probably before. I can easily imagine Luigi being much easier to implement due to similarities to his bro, not to mention him being a veteran and all. (I know Olimar is a veteran too but I imagine he was tougher to implement due to the Pikmin system)

Donkey Kong's back kick is where the bananas are... His dash kick just leaves my stomach bankrupt.
