I've only listened to "Lights" (the album) and I remember enjoying a few songs off of it, for the genre anyway.

Haven't gotten around to giving Halcyon a shot yet.

However, I was talking to one of my friends about Ellie and she brought up "Burn." So, I went and listened to it on YouTube.

It's pretty weak, seems like it was designed to be chart bait and nothing more.

That said, after listening to that new Gaga track, at least Ellie's effort sticks in your head. A better crafted earworm pop song in that sense.

This release is so much better than regular ass Halcyon. Great album, only 2 songs that don't hit, the slow ones. Midas touch, flashback, burn, goodness gracious are so lovely.
Hopefully she comes to Chitown again soon!
