Dragon's Crown drama again? Don't people get tired of repeating the same thing over and over again?

People see what they want to see. I myself choose not to pick out discrete aspects of a game and ignore other parts to fit my agenda. I don't see anything wrong with a universally exaggerated art style, and that's what this game is.

All the winners have been picked for the 50 states 50 codes contest. Since VitaGAF is da best, 2 vouchers embedded here.

Great. Looks like I missed another of the opportunities to get one of the leftover codes.

FYI, if you enter a already taken code but have previously downloaded the demo, it makes it look like you got the full game and ends up redownloading the demo only for you. That was a heartbreaking good time.

To be fair, the guy said today was his first time actually seeing the game's art. He wasn't parroting anyone else's "agenda" (whatever that means). I had the same reaction a week ago when I saw it.

We'll never get one ;p

Like I said, people see what they want to see. You didn't notice the males in the game whose aspects that are seen as attractive are extremely exaggerated as well. You can say it's not the same, but it is the same.

Stupid question, but what is the refresh tab for on vita game start pages? Is it to check got patch updates? I only got my vita recently so I'm a bit new to the os features.

Yeah I just checked again, definitely got the demo.
I have a couple friends in real life that have all been trying to win a code so one of us can try it before we all buy it haha.
Vita-Cats gotta be careful with their wallets.

I can confirm that you should buy it. Teleportation is so satisfying and fun.

I wish sony was gonna release pupeteer on the vita. With all the games coming this fall for Vita its gonna take money away from my next gen fund. Seriously if there were a bunch of awesome games announced I could hold off on next gen and ride out with my vita for a while.

Again, I'm not bothered by it. Mor massive mammaries, please. But, if someone sees differently they should be able to express so freely without being accused of co-opting an "agenda". People love to throw that around when gender or race is brought up. Anyway, you're right to point out the men are grotesquely beefed up as well, but I don't know that the comparison is fitting for 2 reasons: a) there's nothing implicitly sexual about guys with large torsos and b) female characters are overwhelmingly presented this way. So, yeah, maybe the game is unfairly getting criticized as result of broader frustrations.

Speaking of which, is anybody like, really into their live area? I always check it out.
Makes me wish I understood "near"

Yeah, I was surprised by how much goes on there. Constant (unobtrusive) stream of what people are doing, and you can even comment and like the updates. I wish Near was as intuitive . As it is, I don't even know how to use it, lol.

Ahh yeah Pupeteer would be amazing on Vita. That game impresses me more every time I see it, so many heads!

When PS4 comes out, in theory, we won't be complaining about anything not coming to Vita on account of the remote play right?

You could say that. Anyone up for some Killzone Merc?

Just thinking how amazing it would be to have Android running on the Vita so I could run Drastic or RetroArch. Just in one of those moods ...

I am about 15 hours into Persona 4 Golden and I feel like putting it down and moving on. There is nothing really wrong with it, I just feel like I am going through the motions and with my limited gaming time, I just feel like it might be a waste to spend so many more hours on something I am not particularly enjoying. Am I missing out on anything noteworthy (besides more of the same gameplay) by stopping now?

You're surprised people elected to play a game like that on vita instead of ps3? The true mystery is that anyone would play it at all.

Swear I see areola.
Still 80 millions vs maybe 5.
And it's not the first time, both little king and muramasa sold in japan better than on wii iirc and the disparity between the userbases was even higher.

I think Ubisoft is making Watchdogs for Vita...I think

It would make sense, maybe even more than another ac, wd is the new big deal and a spinoff could help promoting it, add that the team that made liberation is not working on a new ac for vita...
Imo is not out of this world.

I couldn't help myself:

Kept looking at videos and got excited lol. I needed some sort of rhythm game in my life...especially since I've been playing nothing but RPG's.

The story and the characters. If they do nothing for you and you already don't enjoy the gameplay, it is time to move on.

I love the characters and that was more than enough reason to put in the crazy amount of time I did.

Still at the Japan level but I'm sorta enjoying Sly Cooper so far. I'm not a PS3-owner so it surprised me to find out this was a straight port with cross-save.

The level design is good and encourages exploration. No frame rate problems yet. I didn't find the non-stealth missions as enjoyable as the stealth ones. Especially the one with Murray carrying around a barrel of fish. That said, it's fun to run around the non-mission part of the level as Murray and pummel everyone for coins after sneaking around as Sly.

My other problem is with the voice acting for Murray and Bentley, too kiddie for my taste but I guess that was intentional. And while I find the overall story to be okay the dialog is bad. Just Saturday morning cartoon level writing. (Which I guess they were going for anyway given the game's overall look and feel.)

thats exactly how I felt. going through tons of text...a battle here or there...i kept waiting to see why this game gets so many accolades...I'd also like to know when exactly does this game get fun.

For a few weeks I played it nightly before falling asleep, as I normally do with books. When I started to view it as a quasi novel with pockets of interactivity I enjoyed it a lot more.

I literally skip every 'cutscene' that isn't interesting or with one of the people I legitimately care about in the games. Makes it 100% better for me. Might work for you?
