Did anyone find it kind of rushed when
Hank had the panic attack on the road then it cut straight to him taking his wristband off in the home? Maybe there'll be more on the BR release.

Sorry but Breaking Bad fans have some of the worst cognitive dissonance

Mike: Has killed many people, tried to murder Walt AND Jesse. But he's badass! So he's a hero and a good person!

Walter: Has killed scumbag drug dealers that killed a child. Kills Mike, who would not have flinched if he had killed him and Jesse. That monster! Piece of shit! Get dat cancer!

You can do this with any character. There are no good guys on this show.

Jesse: Got Jane back onto drugs after she became clean. Caused her to overdose. Distraught father returns to work as an air traffic controller and crashes a plane. Father attempts suicide and is possibly successful. #TeamJesse.

I thought he was having a stroke or something. Wouldn't that just be something, he figure it out and then ends up in the hospital unable to talk or communicate.

He had a panic attack and had 3 hours in the ER to collect himself. What more did you want? He can't talk to Marie about it and she would obviously be hanging on him so all he could do is think in his head. The scene afterwards with him double checking the writing should be enough to know where is his head is at.

Walt takes on characteristics of who he kills, the next cold open will have him on crutches, wearing make up and a diaper. Also wearing a purple cardigan.

Not really. Jesse didn't cause her overdose. He didn't even use heroin before she got him into it. Not his fault. Plus, the only person he did kill he did it very hestitantly. Definitely not on the same level as Mike or Walter.

Walt poisoned a little kid. This is just false equivalency. Unlike Walt, Mike also genuinely cared about Jesse and was trying to get him not to fall into this life. He was constantly gritting his teeth and musing how stupid Jesse is for staying by this man's side. Because Mike still had a semblance of a conscience remaining. In the story he told Walt about Half Measures, we took the temperature of the man. He IS a better person than Walt is, even though they're both bad men.

That said, who is painting Mike as a good guy? The dude had blood on his hand same as anyone else. People respect him a bit more because he was a consummate professional, but that doesn't change the fact he was a criminal. Unlike Walt, he really did care about collateral damage - he aimed try to ensure only those who were directly involved in the criminal business were those being targeted, no one else (Walt's lack of care again demonstrated by bombing a Nursing Home, only casually interested in the fact that he was putting senior citizens in danger). Again, like the difference between Jesse and Walt, not all bad guys are created equal. They're all dirty, they all deserve punishment, but Walt is quite demonstrably a worse person than either Jesse or Mike.

This might be a dumb question but what does "tread lightly" mean?

Basically means watch your step. If you make a lot of a noise you might rouse some trouble you don't want.

text from the preview:

walt: you better not be saying what i think you're saying..
skylar: i am so sorry..
saul: it's you say(?) he said, she said
walt: find jesse
hank: i can be the man who caught him.. the lives he's destroyed! he's a monster!

What else was there to show? Hank had a panic attack while driving, Marie thought he was having a heart attack (as the symptoms can often appear and even feel very similar), and Hank was let go once the hospital confirmed it wasn't a heart issue.

Could someone explain LWS so far?

Two cops decide to off a fellow cop, who is a partner to one of them. They meticulously plan it and carry it out. Turns out, IA was investigating the detective they offed.

Another thread has Ziggy from The Wire kill a man over drugs, and well, I'm confused with what's going on with his story. I'm sure it has to do with the cop that was killed but not sure how.

It kind of reminds me of the people that think Joel in The Last of Us is an asshole. Yet, they are willing to defend every other person in the game including David.

I think people like Mike because he had a kind of code, he wasnt in it for the ego, there was a line he didnt cross, he made sure his family wasnt at risk, and most importantly he didnt take pleasure in his work.

Walt, on the other hand, loves what he does he delights in his deeds and seemingly feels no remorse for what he has done. If he was truly in the business for his family he would have simply worked for Gus, took the money, and shut up. Mike's face was carved with the actions he undertook for his job, and he didnt attempt to rationalize his behavior as good, he was under no illusion of what he was. Walt, of course still believes that he is the good guy, the innocent party who "had no choice." Like any true villain he believes himself to be the hero.

But, that is why I love Walt and in the end I hope he gets away with it all or if he has to go out then Jesse has to kill him.

No one says he's a hero but the reason people like him is because Mike still was a human. Case in point, he didn't kill Lydia because of her daughter. Also, he felt like extreme shit to having to kill one of his men. Also, he hated the fact the kid got killed in the desert. Mike is willing to quit the business when he knows shit has gone too far for him to handle.

Walt, on the other hand, does not care the kid died. He does not care what his actions does to other people. He just threaten his own brother-in-law and felt nothing about it. He continues to lie and lie to Jesse.

Walt is no longer the anti-hero of the show, he's the main antagonist.

You guys should be used to this from Jesse. I feel sorry for him, though. He came up with train heist gameplan, and he vouched for Walt to Mike on several occasions. Blood's on his hand as he sees it.

Why should he chill out, Jesse obviously feels guilty about all the shit he's done, is he supposed to just be okay with it lmao?!

God forbid, he feel bad for doing bad things.

not even too long ago, he was in the lab with walt telling him he's out

it's only after walt told him that the money they've made is ''blood money'' that jesse became depressed

like he didn't know that before? come on, jesse

now he's out doings crazy things and i'm pretty sure he's borderline suicidal

Holy shit that's ziggy? Thanks for the recap.

I don't think you know what false equivalency is. People blast Walt for killing Mike, when Mike was in the same exact situation and wouldn't have hesitated as much as Walter did. And poisoning Brock was a desperate act to save his own life, and it potentially saved his entire family. Just saying, wasn't the worst trade-off.

that preview

Hank finds out Skyler's involved, surely... and that? That's remember my name shit; I could be the guy that takes him down. Don't let hubris get to you, Hank. Fuckin Walt. He's so badass. A top cunt. But a badass.

Hopefully he can find peace after he murders Walt.

aaaand we're back to legitimately trying to defend a monster poisoning a child

sorry i decided last year not to debate with future aspiring sociopaths, no offense.
