Did anybody else catch early on in the beginning of the episode with the flash-forward when Walt was walking through his old house - he looks into a dirty mirror and his eyes are completely obscured like he has no soul? It was a very chilling moment that I think was done deliberately.

I am interested to see how the eventual Hank and Jesse conversation plays out, since the GPS tracker would show Walt visiting Jesse.

i still have the chills right now holy shit

i didn't think hank would react so explosively

i think he'd be more of a confused mess that doesn't know what to do, i thought he'd consider the health of the family but he actually is very blunt with his intent

motherfucker don't give a fuck, he's putting the law before the health of his family which i personally think is a scummy trait, but it isn't really unexpected as the signs have always been present

walt hasn't brought up his medical expenses either

i can already see the shitstorm:
Yeah I have to wonder what is in this for Hank to pursue other than absolutely having to take down every criminal ever even if it implodes his own family.

If I recall the last episode before this the top brass were all; 'Why are you still working this Fring case, it's over dude, congrats, enjoy the promotion.' And all the product is now going overseas and no longer on the streets locally anymore. So what prods him to continue to go after and take down Walt. Should be interesting to find out if there is more here this season or if someone else steps in to expose Walt. Looks like Jessie is going off the rails, maybe a confession from him. Doubt he believes Walt anymore about anything.

Ahhhh, how can they make us wait a week for more!

First time in my life we are trying to forward past the show to the commercials. OH MY GOD WE'RE STUCK ON LIVE TV.

Longest segment without a commercial break...

I was gonna joke that this pilot is being aired commercial-free. AMC with the ultimate troll. PEACE.

Heh, it's like Walt needs to making meth to be cancer free. Are the show makers claiming being around those chemicals is a cure for cancer?

Kidding of course.

I think Jesse gave him that look because he was just dumbfounded at how Walt even seems to believe his own lies, or at least how well formulated and elaborate they are.

I have no doubt that he knows Mike is dead. The scene that really reinforces this for me is when Jesse pulled out that gun after Walt left the money at his house.

Thought that was a powerful shot. Walt staring into a mirror and he couldn't even recognize himself. Awesome stuff.

Walt dying of cancer is unlikely since he isn't dead during the flashforwards, right?

Who knows if what Walt was saying is true about the 6 months thing. My guess is, he was just lying. Doesn't mean that Walt isn't a dead man walking. That he only has like..a year left or whatever.

I'm fairly confident that Walt in the flashfowards still has cancer, and he has stopped taking chemo (because of the hair + he's taking pills for that cough). Also, the fact that Walt was wiling to acknowledge his neighbor when he's now famous for being a huge criminal, means he doesn't plan on living past that day.

Jesse

he seems to give no fucks anymore and he knows Walt killed Mike. He didn't believe his bullshit for one second

That's the only way I could see Hank actually making things stick if he wants to push. When he was stacking all the pictures and evidence you think "Oh shit" cause Hank is putting it together. But objectively looking at what he is trying to say, it's weak. The superlab was destroyed. The nursing home stuff, destroyed. Walt's prints aren't going to be at Gale's place. So he can't be tied to that murder.

Nice job AMC, you coerced me into watching this for Breaking Bad preview, and now I'm into the show. I can't watch a show for 30minutes and not finish it.

Oh god, the potential for a Walt and Jesse Western shootout would be great. Vince expressed his love for westerns and how he'd love to make one as well.

Acting all emo and mopey? Sure. Throwing out fat stacks like a bad game of Paperboy is not. Guilt-ridden people still keep the money. PEACE.

Not specifically throwing cash out the money - that's a very Jesse-like thing to do and fits his personality - but giving away money, yes. Plenty of guilty people do that. Jesse is the epitome of a man consumed and destroyed by guilt.

Serious question: do we have to spoiler-tag comments or speculation about the flashforwards? I thought it was only previews or "news rumors". PEACE.

I hope they make previews like Mad Men ones just to fuck with people.

"Jesse, shut the door."

"They're merging?!"

"I can't believe this is going to happen."

[Insert one liner from Walt Jr here]

Mad Men has the best previews ever

Please spoiler tag discussion for anything that hasn't aired yet, and yes, that includes preview content. Speculation is fine.

That was so fucking good. I had just gotten back from the movies, and this episode washed the disappointing taste of Elysium right out of my mouth.

Long live Breaking Bad.
