Oh hey a fire breaks out at one point in the Gerudo Valley stage, that's neat. Sort of weird that so far the 3DS stages seem way more dynamic than the Wii U ones, considering the issues of processing power Sakurai keeps bringing up. Maybe they really are trying to focus the console version towards core players more, while the 3DS version skewers more towards gimmicky fun stages? It'd explain why the customization aspect seems to be brought up more in regards to SSB3DS as well.Todays picture

ever since smash was announced in 2011 ive been hoping sakurai switches to that design or atleast made it a alt

didn't animal crossing have a stage last game?
yes and an animal crossing character was a possibility for brawl but they were thought as too passive to be fighters but now look at how that has changed.Having a boxing themed stage could mean Lil Mac was also reassessed as a potential character who was once an AT. it is not too wild an idea IMO.

This is great to hear. Even though I'm still not a fan of Mega Mewtwo, but if he's in the game then so will regular Mewtwo! Mega Lucario looks cool by the way. I wonder if both Lucario and Mewtwo will have similar final smashes.

Little Mac has been one of the most requested characters in the west since Melee. And he can't give the Animal Crossing excuse again (that he later recanted) since it doesn't even meet the same criteria he originally blabbed about.
Really? What kind of card game? If that is true, his redesign is much less drastic. Internet turned my fired emblem ice cold. That is still an improvement. He is wearing pants, protecting his princehood.
