Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | August 2013 | Divekicks & Dragons

Sounds like a few other ports and the new Bend title. Gamescom will be focused on PS4 but I still expect a decent Vita show.

It doesn't "sound" like any specific thing. He just said "yes" to a question "Will there be new Vita games at Gamescom?". Who knows what that could mean.

Yes! Dynasty Warriors Next will be mine! Also... probably Metal Gear HD... and Katamari... I'm gunna need another memory card.

Is New Little King's Story a good game? Haven't heard much about it. Worth a purchase?

i enjoyed what i played of the wii game - maybe 1/3 of it, as i rented it.

i heard this version dips in framerate when you have a full team in town or highly cluttered screens.

sub 10$ is a steal in my eyes. def getting it - been waiting for a great price on it. - and with such a low price you can't complain at all of the few times the framerate will skip.

I bought new little kings story and soul sacrifice at launch, full price, and mgs hd used. Other than that, I am happy a lot of the other games on sale I have never owned.

how is katamari for vita and in general - i've never played one.

also just so people can hear another opinion on Muramasa - i rented it on the wii, enjoyed it for the first few hours, but then got bored of it fast. beautiful game though (esp the hot springs scene). i say put that money towards dragons crown and wait for a better deal on muramasa. the crazy thing about that games' price is how soon after release this sale is. 20-25$ is what the game is worth in my eyes - but if you're looking for a great price it is not. 15$ is my sweet spot for it. just not craving to replay it...it wasn't THAT good

I bought SS at Day One Price too. I think the game is worth it then and even more worth it now.

Part of me wished I waited though (but that's due to me playing the heck out of the demo so when the actual game came out I wasn't as hooked :P)

Apparently my Dragon's Crown pre-order is lost in the mail :/ Amazon says it was delivered Saturday morning but it wasn't. I called FedEx and they said the gave the package to the USPS to deliver to my house but I never got it :/// This is the only time I've ever had a delivery problem with an Amazon order.

You're right, this message doesn't mean anything in particular but Sony's lack of excitment about Vita is worrying, especially considering how happy they are when they announce just a few late ports. Also, sorry for my bad english, I'm not english-native.

I have the same problem. Played the shit out of the SS demo, like 10 hours of it. Then when the game came, I moved on to other games. barely touched the full game. Bleah. I should learn my lesson and buy games day 1 only if I intend to play it day one. I should also get back into soul sacrifice.

Vita gets it's first 2015 title, Project Phoenix JRPG "90%" coming to Vita:

Which game consoles will Project Phoenix be released on?

Currently we are in negotiations to have our game released on the PS4 and the PSVITA. The negotiations are still ongoing and we are 90% certain we will be able to release on these wonderful devices.

Looking at the talent there, I'm pretty hyped about this.

guess this won't happen for Dragon Crown xD

That is just 1 new retail game on the ps3. I think you have done well.

Well, now might be the time to pick it back up if you didn't play much since the sale will help populate the lower multiplayer online quests.

I put over 120 hours into between the demo and real game and still play occasionally to try the new DLC.

It's great, the only slowdowns you'll experience are in the very late game after you become monstrously big, but that's par the course for any Katamari game.

The stretching mechanic is awesome. I found it was fresh and added something to Katamari that was new/different. There's a reason I haven't deleted it from my memory card yet. I don't play it a lot, but it's good!

Some guy in the other thread is saying katamari is terrible. But then again, that price....

I think if you like Katamari, you should like the Vita version for $4.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I agree that Sony seems to not really care about Vita, and it's depressing. And I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if all we get are a couple ports and a new Bend games. That's probably best case scenario, even! It's just, we can't really gather anything from what he said. I guess we can just be happy that we'll be getting new games period. :/

It helps that DC doesn't have a demo to play for 10 hours.

Also, DC revived my inner loot whore. I kind of like it for the same reasons as I like Diablo.

not quite sure which fighter to get... (or both)
and gah. I'm trying not to get the double digit games like Muramasa and Atelier Totori Plus but but

I played the demo, really liked it but held off as I still had stuff and had a baby coming so knew I wouldnt have time.

I bought it 3 weeks ago now, still playing it and am at just over 50 hours. Im max lvl (60/40), completed the main story, all companion quests but am only half way through avalon pacts. Still got a fair few spells to max out and a bunch of sigils to get. I think I have a fair amount of play time out of this yet with the online which I have only just started getting into. Game is fantastic.

My problem is a kept buying games before I had completed stuff I was already playing. trying to tone that down now.

Hopefully this and pixel junk will tidy me over till killzone in september. Then that will last till when ever the hell dragons crown comes out, and then hopefully I will get my PS4 and get into bf4 remote play on my Vita.

Thats the current plan at least.

I'm thinking that too.. but gah those prices.
hmm how's Atelier Totori Plus $19.59

By the time you're done with all those games there will be another sale. I'm expecting a sale like this for Black Friday/cyber week after thanksgiving. So, just wait on it like me?

As for Atelier I thought that game would be like EDF and not get a discount so maybe it's worth it to get it now?

hmm there goes the KZ:M budget
I really regret getting on all the 4 PLAY games now. could have used for this lol

Totally agree, every single conference peoples are expecting too much. I don't care if a game isn't exclusive but late ports and especially late indie ports are useless. Whatever happens, I believe it won't be better than GC 2012 with PS+, cross-buy, PS One classics and new exciting titles.

What do you think, will there be a "Best of #PlayStationMemories" Sale after Gamescom?

Missed some great PS1 games because I didnt thought that I will buy a Vita so quickly and now I really regret it -,-

SCEA celebrates Japanese developers by not bothering to check that the games they picked were actually made by Japanese developers.

Bravo, SCEA, we love you.
