So Swag is older. I have never heard it used inplace of the word schwag though, I only hear swag in stuff like rap songs talking about their swagger.

Do they mean swagger like their rolling gait as they walk? I don't get the new definition at all.

Regardless, rappers by definition are thieves: stolen rhymes, stolen beats. So I guess it makes sense they talk about their swag all the time.
