I'm seeing eminem live in 6 days, Shit is going to be the highlight of my life.
 
This is terrible, he's still using that annoying screaming flow


Skylar Grey (if that's her) on the hook doesn't work she keeps getting used, corny
 
Trash. He's rapping over the same rock style beats and using the screaming flow too much. It's the same thing he did with the accents. Use your regular voice, and get back to more varied production.

He does have the screaming flow but its better presented in this track. I do miss the old slim shady relaxed flow though ;(

EM just doesn't sound good at all on these rock beats, but he's just trying to move units and get play during football/basketball promo videos at this point in his career
 
The NeoGaf hivemind is going to hate on this but I have been a fan of Em for years and I'm excited. I believe the song it just called 'Survival'. I could be wrong though.

His younger fans must really dig it because anything big he drops seems to get 100m plus views on youtube.

Did you enjoy his release voice ? I miss that.

His flow was so much better with the accent than the shouting recovary flow, His flow was great on Hell: The sequel though, It was good to see him back on top of the game.

Now we wait for the inevitable kendrick ft eminem track.
 
Yeah it sounds like Liz Rodrigues on the hook. Need a version without these annoying sound effects. Wonder how much they had to pay to get an exclusive Em track.
 
On recovery eminem ditched the stupid relapse accents and promised a return to norma emineml but for some reason he thought that meant shouting in every single song since then, as if that's what everyone was begging for.
 
Oh god, man, i don't know about this track. My problem with Em' is his beat choices are ALWAYS suspect. He definitely needs to link up with some better producers. This beat... yeech! That said, I have to wait on the a CDQ as steeloDMZ mentioned to get a handle on the lyrics though.

Yeah I liked him in Hell The Sequel more than Recovery. I definitely think he can tone down the shouting but it hasn't really gotten too annoying for me yet.

On first listen I don't really like this song and hope Elliot is right in that this isn't the first single. BUT Eminem has always released a radio friendly single with every album drop. This isn't something new or Em selling out.

Hoping the album isn't all yelling and this isn't the first or any single. This should just be on the COD soundtrack.
