Let me set up the scene for you. I click the first youtube link, asks me login in. That's annoying, go back to the thread, glance and see theres a second "youtube" link that says off to the right you don't need to login. *click* Boobs. Fuck.

Yes I realize that's entirely my fault. But when the url is nearly identical except for 4 letters, how about a little courtesy warning for people browsing on a work PC?

Same. I'm hoping they're not messing with us or anything. Looking this good on PS3/360 AND being open world is crazy. I'm seriously blown away by this.

I'm glad it's beyond just the standard stuff they did with GTAIV's multiplayer. This is like a whole other game and it'll keep being added to.

Rockstar seems to be giving us way more than $60 worth of fun. =D
 
As long as me and my mates can go bear ( well, cougar) hunting with miniguns and full auto shotgun's, I am happy.

Revenge, for all the deaths they caused in RDR.

God damn, the possibilities are endless.

I'm looking forward to players taking specialist roles, particularly as you can give cash to other players.

So you could have a designated pilot who takes your crew around Los Santos in style. You could hire a bodyguard, or someone to watch over your garage if you have business to attend to. You could hire players who are good at killing to assassinate other players. You could have a crew who all wear suits, or who all have crazy tattoos.

It's going to be something special.

Trevor and Franklin can be seen in online, but Michael should not be seen, since he doesn't get back into the criminal underworld until the events of V....
 
the one thing that i loved in SA, that i thought was missing in GTA4, was the sense of exploration.

i remember feeling lost at times in SA (usually around mt. chiliad). that was an awesome feeling. this game seems so fucking vast.

Serious shit is going to happen during GTA V's campaign, clearly.

I doubt you'll see the protagonists.
 
Definitely sounds like they'll be releasing information every week. The CVG interview with Leslie Benzies suggests that they're going to be releasing more information perhaps next week or the week after.

Goddam. Can't believe it's just over 4 weeks. I seriously didn't think that anything could reduce the hype of GTA 5 single player for me ... But somehow, GTA Online has, listening to these interviews.

Yeah, they still have those Coming Soon sections on their website. They'll probably update the site every week until the launch.

I'm getting both. Im getting ma Special Edition on Xbox and will play online on that version. Im also getting it on PS3 because I have to experience myself deez graphics on the PSTriple. Gotta support Godstar. I've basically waited my entire life for a game EXACTLY like this one right here. I can pony-up at launch for two copies.

It is GTA5's multiplayer component, but was developed on it own scheule concurrently to the core game, and is launching on Oct 1st as a way to allow gamers to get their mind around te mechanics before sinking their teeth in. A very wise and smart decision in my opinion.

Basically, it appears to have story and progression elements as well, and is 'its own thing,' that will be updated going forward by Rockstar, potentially with new game modes, characters, missions, etc.

And its free for everyone who buys GTA5. On Oct 1st there will be a code to download that unlocks it for everyone who has purhased the game.

I'm dreaming- this looks even better than anticipated.
 
I have to say, I'm so excited for races. Somewhat simple compared to some other stuff presented here, but racing in planes, on jet skis, dirt bikes, etc. is going to be crazy fun. Especially out in the mountains.

No. Buy GTA V and you'll have GTA online.
 
That CVG YouTube video is 58 minutes of awesome.

-menu where you can put on / remove glasses, hats, masks
-masks effect wanted level
-mgs-like vision cones for police officers when wanted
-hinted at numerous (online?) Radio stations
-money from co-op heists can be split
-stealth kills

And more.
It's going to be a long wait.

Yeah, those topics are always so silly. All the "is it just me or" type of topics. Of course you aren't the only one.

Especially with GTA. Just go back and read some of the GTA topics from the past few years. GAF has a pretty big number of Rockstar haters.
