Hahaha, The Triple Play series absolutely sucked. Now MVP will always hold a special place in my sports gaming heart(playing people in college was a blast) but that team has disbanded and it will never be the same. SCEA has that on lock now and its better than MVP ever was.
Was definitely in Triple Play, not sure about FIFA.

If it really is October, it's a lot earlier than most of the general public is expecting, so I'd hope they would drop a date even if just to make sure everyone has their money down/ready in time at least.

Since there's no BC, they've got to do something to restore the value of PS+ quickly on PS4. Maybe locking online MP behind the subscription will be enough, but it would still be a significant climb-down from the value currently being offered on PS3 or even Vita. Certainly for existing subscribers, we're probably hoping to see that same value proposition continue on the PS4, so Sony will have to be agressive to achieve that right from the start.
Housemarque seems to have been a willing partner in getting versions of SSHD ready for both the PSP Go and Vita launches, so I fully expect them to be ready with a PS4 version at launch.

Huh, when you put it like that it almost sounds like Sony could drop the online paywall after a year once they have enough people with enough PS+ games they don't want to lose (and enough of a back catalog to give away easily). I'm sure they won't, since there's no point in doing that unless they announce they're doing it ahead of time. And then, after a year, they'll have Gaikai...
Anyway, if SuperStardust PS4 is free for PS+, it'll probably be Euro only. 'tis the way of things, it seems.

Yes to both. Triple Play 98' for the PSX was very good, and the MVP series had it's moments.
EA has the exclusive rights to FIFA and the NFL licenses. They don't deserve to have anything to do with the MLB. They started this exclusive shit, so now they have to play by the same rules. I'm sure Take-Two and Sony would love to give American football a shot with 2K and Gameday series respectively. Just think if every publisher could pay for the these licenses and we had some actual competition in the market year after year. We might see some actual change.....

I don't know about squirrels but where I am we have Possums that go in your roof and live and they are terrible. They nest and can chew electrical wiring and stuff. Really annoying. I laughed at the gif : (
EDIT: point of that was we don't know if it was for fun. He may have had a legit reason. Sure it's probably not the right way to do it, but we don't n ow if it was for laughs.
Where I used to stay had shit ton of squirrels too and they are bad for your home grown vegetables and fruits.

They need to also be careful not to set up expectations that they can't keep up. Lots of games at launch, and then not lots of games isn't good either. They need to spread things out.
Tbh I had no expectations of free stuff on PS4, I expected it to be more like vita - wait until a year after launch. So anything is a bonus right now
