This is definitely not a simple programming oversight. Offering the same game for two different prices is not something their store currently supports and would require quite some work.
I'm hoping to see big 'budget' titles and localization confirmation for GE2,
expecting, ports and a few indes nothing else.

There's absolutely no reason what so ever to believe they're working on anything but the Vita. That's what they talked about doing next in their Golden Abyss post mortem, that's what they're talking about in their job ads, and that's what their GDC presentation earlier this year was about.

Hoping for a PS Plus discount since I already have (and played) the PS3 version but I'll still double dip even if it is $25 for everything.

Yeah, I am surprised it hasn't been patched yet. It isn't that bad, but yeah definitely annoying especially if I haven't been online in a while and there are a lot of changes.

Nah the only PSM stuff I know to be getting announced is leaderboards which should go live on Tuesday night for unknown number of games.
My smile was about a couple games I know that will be getting announced tomorrow.
