Regarding the whole football/soccer thing...All blame should fall at the feet of whoever called american football: football instead of handegg (I'm actually an NFL fan in the uk not complaining about the sport)

Sony don't need to offer a free game.

They already offer 2-3 new games for free every month (one of which is DriveClub) via PS+.

You could have a year worth of PS+ and a PS4 for less than the price of an XBONE and you'd get at least 24 games free of charge.
