i thought the first one for Wii was really good. I'll probably buy it saturday but not play it for a while
Game is still like 3 million quid for a 32 gb card. If they all shift down a price it's still looking expensive

i enjoyed the one for the wii when i rented it. never beat it though. planning to pick it up off the sale. people complain of the new artstyle and some framedrops later in teh game during heavy scenes.
nbd for me. its a long game too. like 40ish hrs iirc. great deal for sub 10$

Yikes, yeah. Online is £80 for a 32GB pre-price drop so I won't be expecting close to £40 then. Amazon wanted £55 for one pre-price drop so maybe they'll go sub-£40...

Killzone Mercenary bedtime stories. Goddamn, reclining in bed and fighting it out on a blustery seaside installation. What a game. Really enjoying that classic KZ nuance. Starting to unlock the toys, the stalwart arsenal in all its glory. Can't wait to unlock the Helghast AR.
I think i'm selling my DS Lite and my CoD BO2 copy (it came with my 500gb PS3 and i think i've played it twice. I've asked how much they will pay me. Like 70-80 bucks for both. So I will probably buy a 32GB cards and something like PSN credit, 90 day Plus por something.
I have a Nexus7 so i can play my DS games in the new emulator that has been released. So it's time todo trade. I would have sold my PSP, but i will need it if i feel the urge of playing KH or Crisis Core.

That is a beautiful thing, I get excited at the mere mention of Broken Sword, George Stobbart is my favourite game character. Do we know a release date yet? I think I'll get it on mac for the classic point and click then buy it on Vita for trophies. I don't know if that is odd but it's happening.

I started with the amazon.
Imo if you have an adequate level for the boss the game is more enjoyable alone or at least with less than 3 allies, especially if they are not the magic users or the dwarf, because they make the game more chaotic.
With less allies you play "more" and ironically i have the impression that there are even less deaths.

Been playing Rayman Origins the last couple of days. The game is really good, although I cannot stand the Rayman character, not sure why. Glad you can play as different people. Can someone tell me what the things that looks like a teardrop over the level are? I have no idea what I'm looking for to collect those.

Anyway P4G Risette trophy - this thing is driving me crazy - I'm not running my second set of characters through all the dungeons to maximize the number of lines she drops but it' still driving me crazy.
Also i've got Risette social link at lvl 3 - if i advance will she get more scanning abilities ?
Make sure you get that SLink filled out. I waiting until later in the game. If you do it sooner it makes battles a breeze.

All that's been confirmed thus far is that the game will be coming out later this year on all announced platforms. That really surprised me to be honest; I didn't expect to get the Vita version until next year. Great news.

I was thinking about Muramasa, but I think I'll use those $20 for Dragon's Crown. I think Dynasty Warriors is worth it at that price, I've only played a little bit but its a nice mindless title to romp through before falling asleep.
I'll also be getting the fighters, maybe you should add me (only if you suck like me).

I'm almost certain that not ALL separate teams are working on PS4. I think he meant that all studios have a project brewing for PS4, but studios like Media Molecule have more than one team nowadays and some of those are probably still be working on Vita games. And Sony Bend is probably seen as part of SCEE studios instead of a studio of their own like Guerilla is, so I wouldn't be too worried about about them having abandoned Vita just yet.
broken sword is a classic point and click adventure game. and when i say adventure, i mean it! it's got a rollicking good high adventure story, wonderful cast, beautiful 2d art, top tier voice acting.
go play broken sword 1 & 2 on your ipad/pc today!

Does anyone know when the price drop on the Vita and memory cards come into effect in Europe? Would also be interested to know when the Mega bundles are hitting, since I can't find anything on that either.

It's a point and click adventure game, think Monkey Island (I prefer Broken Sword though). You can get the first 2 cheap on ios or steam. They are 2d cartoon style so they have aged really well. The stories revolve around historical conspiracies, the first one is all about the Knights Templar, and it's awsome. Great characters, story and voice acting, there is something wonderful about an American (George Stobbart) with a British sense of humour. So yes I think everyone in the world should be excited.

What this guy said. He's right on everything. The games are also really funny.
But might I add, if you're going to play the first game then avoid the Director's Cut. It shits a fair bit on the original version, so just play that instead. First two came out on the PS1, so if you're especially averse to PC gaming then that's always an option.
Who is saying nay? Broken Sword 3 & 4 are perhaps nay, but those were different than the original two, which are DEFINITELY yay, and 5 is exactly like the original two, so it should be yay too.

Well, it does cause me to focus, which could be a good thing, but at the same time, I don't want to have to delete and reinstall games I want to be available always (read: fighters, etc.) because I'm out of space. And yeah, I'll buy the game if I really want it and figure out how to handle the space issues... but in cases like DoA5+, I've gone to from "I'll grab that for $10 just to support a good port/development effort and I'll see if I like it better than previous entries in the franchise." to "fuck it, I'll never have 3.x gb free for that game on my cart, I'm not wasting $10 to have it sit buried in my download list."
Now I'm at the point where no idea how I'm going to make room for Killzone in a couple of weeks. I went all digital for the convenience. I pay the markup and don't really complain about it too much either. However with the PS+ program now on Vita, the amount of games people are amassing are requiring more space if they want to have a large number of games readily available without having to carry a bunch of cards around with them, etc.
As far as installing another hard drive... that isn't like buying another memory card Not unless I can put both in the system at once. Last I checked, my PC didn't require me to swap drives... now if someone made an accessory that allowed me to put a second memory card in the system via the empty card slot... that'd be like installing another hard drive and I'd be on it in a flash.
With PCs, you can just add a new drive. Even with PS3, you can just buy a bigger HDD and you're not limited until you've hit the limit of available laptop drive sizes. But because Vita is using a proprietary memory card, there are no options other than "micromanage space", which people like me don't want to do all the time or "buy another memory card" which is still a hassle.
Furthermore, I meant to state earlier that I don't think that the lack of a bigger memory card makes the system "garbage". However, I think they should definitely introduce a new memory card and fix the limitations of the OS in terms of folders/bubbles that can be "installed" at a given moment.
In addition, if we ever were to get the pipe dream of a Steam-style OS on the Vita, where I could see a list of all games I owned and easily manage which are installed or not installed, etc., I wouldn't be so vexed by the lack of larger memory cards.

Muramasa was a instant yes for me, considering I was going to buy it at $36 but hesitated due to not liking the new translation style.

I've been holding off on buying Spelunky since it was released on XBLA.
Played the freeware game, and decided to wait for the inevitable Steam release. Then heard about the Vita release and decided to wait for that... hopefully there's not some other announcement between now and next week that makes me wait more.

I have to vote yay for Dynasty Warriors - can't speak to the rest, but DW has hooked me. I used to be a big fan of the series in the PS2 days, haven't touched one of the games in awhile.
Pop-in in the Vita version can be annoying, but who really cares? All you are doing is hitting square over and over again, no matter who is nearby.
