If you weren't really a big fan of GTA4 then skip The Lost and Damned and go right to Gay Tony. TLaD is in many ways a continuation of GTA4-style missions while Gay Tony is more in line with something that would've fit in San Andreas.
Anyone else think that Michael looks exactly like comedian Todd Glass?

Yet with all these Ads why is it still behind 200,000 pre-orders compared to Xbox.

Game is still not out in a wild.
Is there online COOP for the single player campaign?
Aren't they already being shipped to retailers? Maybe we could pull a heist on a transport truck![]()
I've played enough Payday 2 to know how to do that. Let's rendez-vouz at the safehouse in 1 hour.

No specially with such a hyped / big game, because of leaks etc.I doubt it if reviewers haven't even gotten a copy yet.
Although..do retailers get the game before journalists?

Maybe in The Netherlands, but I doubt big chains will receive the game only one day before the release.
Yeah, i'm pretty sure that they at least have them over the weekend before release just to make sure that all retailers receive them on time.
Did they ever detail what classic characters come with the collector's edition? If Claude from GTA3 was in there I might not be able to help myself.

There is a chance that R* will make a event where the press may review the game first.

Who's to say this isn't just someone who reproduced the disc cover design then printed it and stuck it to any old compact disc?
There are other, more convincing photos around.
Including an ingame one.
No there aren't.
What about that one screen with Franklin walking and the weapon wheel open (and the dude pressing the O button on a ps3 controller)? I thought that was a shopped frame from the Franklin trailer, but i checked the trailer, and it isn't there.
The only one who does this anymore is COD right?Pff yeah right if they do this bullshit again there will be no way to take these reviews seriously. It's gold, just sent a copy next week to your favorite and trustworthy reviewers and let them play it for at least a full week or something.
The only one who does this anymore is COD right?
And we'll know the seriousness of those reviews.
I think a Kotaku writer explained how horrible those events can be for the reviewer.
7/10's incoming.

Horrible? I remember reading a Gamepro article about how reviewers would get flown out to a tropical island for a 3-day spa vacation, with the game in a home theater setup in their rooms afterward.

The "horror" of it is from a journalistic integrity point of view. Before 2006, EA had a high budget for flying people out to play the games before release to get their reviews ready. It was an awesome program if you were in it... I was a recent college grad, a hair over 22, flying out to Orlando and Vancouver regularly to play videogames, go out to expensive dinners, and have basically a free videogame filled vacation. It was awesome. Except it made you put on rose colored glasses. Even when you're not being wined and dined, playing a game with the developers makes you overlook and not question things that should be questioned about a game... At least for me, there's a subconscious feeling to not want to insult these guys.
More to the point, I wonder who else was at the GTA Online reveal that CVG got. In GTA V O'Clock last week they mentioned some of the other teams, like Videojeugos from Spain... But they didn't mention any of the obvious guys, like Game Informer, IGN, and so on. I have to assume they were all there too, but obviously we haven't heard a peep from most of them about the GTA Online demo... So I wonder if they're under a gag order for a certain amount of time before dropping knowledge together.
