Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
Here's another one I thought of....
I like Steam in the sense they offer an excellent selection of games, have a user friendly interface and a community. However, I can never truly consider myself a fan of the idea you really can never possess most of the games (yes, I know some games are truly DRM free and can be backed up, launched offline and w/o the Steam client) in your library. I feel that the popularity and acceptance of Steam has at least 'inspired' companies like Microsoft to come up with half baked ideas like Always Online and game DRM. If it were not for the popularity of Valve's monstrous success, it is possible MS would have never thought up of such a scheme in the first place. The same goes for services like EA's Origin. Services like GOG are a shining knight in the darkness.
On another note, I actually hope The Elder Scrolls Online dethrones World of Warcraft and becomes the go-to MMO. Will it happen? Probably when Vegas freezes over but one can only hope.
