Those broskis are in luck. This game is coming out for the 360 too.
Oh right my bad.

When you start to see the impressions of the media you'll notice they're arriving very clearly at the same conclusion: Gameplay.
You see, when other games are merely flexing their "Post-processing visuals" muscles, Titanfall went the opposite direction and focus their entire aspect on gameplay & player agency. The fact that jetpacks, wallrun, Titan mode all blend in one synchronous game style is by far the only reason why this game stands out against the other "next-gen" titles.
This is what we mean when games are built from the ground up at 60fps. You have faster response time, quicker controller adaptation and you begin to play the game as it was supposed to without worrying whether or not the input will go against you.
After these previews I hate no doubt this game will deliver in fucking spades. At first I was underwhelmed to the the "visuals" but the fact that their gameplay is being shed light upon reveals the true potential that "next-gen" gaming hasn't exactly brought to the table. Will definitely get it once it hits Origin next year.
The coverage this game has been receiving really isn't anything outlandish by AAA game standards. You want shitty games that get way too much coverage, well then let's go flog the AC games.
Because it is. We see this every year when the new Call of Duty gets hyped by the media and receives laughably high ratings.
Titanfall is CoD with mechs and jumping, same procedure.
Can't wait for the upgraded version for PS4!
It's not port begging when we already know it's a timed exclusive thanks to CBOAT. Actually I don't see how you could take a prediction as begging regardless of circumstances.
A shame they went with EA and MS, would have give it a shot on PS4 or Steam
im pretty much sure that if titanfall move lots of consoles...ms will pay how much they ask to have it ala "halo" exclusive...

Titanfall is owned by EA
You think EA is going to keep what they're banking on as being the next CoD exclusive to the xb1? Really?
The excitement for this game is genuine. A friend of mine got to play this at GamesCom and he's really not easily impressed but Titanfall is on his must-buy list. I have no reason to believe the hype is fabricated, from a gameplay standpoint (they've played a level at GC where you don't even necessarily need to touch the floor) it seems more interesting to me at least than COD:Ghosts or BF4.
There's your answer.I think a lot of the negativity stems from...
...or just hate the exclusivity.
For real? Can you point some examples of his Microsoft fanboying?
His entire E3 coverage was a bit embarrassing. Specially those live streams.

That turns me off big time.
TBH this looks like one of the more fun shooters in years.
What are changes of me running this on my 3 year old PC?
CBOAT is not infallible as we've seen recently so until we see it actually confirmed. It should surely be classed as port begging?
Because I'm not really sure what saying I'm waiting for the PS4 version actually adds to these threads?

I'm just worried the game will be too accessible and easy to play like CoD. None of the guns looked like they had recoil, titans killed soldiers with damn near a single bullet from their chainguns.
I'm not really into the "I saw you first so I win" type of multiplayer CoD offers. This looks like it could fall into that trap.

That's the problem with the game industry's hyper aggressive marketing and incestuous PR/Media relationships. There is so much bullshit out there there is no way to tell the wheat from the chaff. I don't blame anyone for being cynical when it comes to games marketing, especially when EA and Microsoft are involved.
So like I said, yipee that EA gives out what amounts to 24 hour PC demos now.

While his E3 coverage was somewhat bizarre, I don't believe it points to him fanboying for MS.
Game really does look excellent. My friend at Gamescom was raving about it to me for what felt like hours. Can't wait

Respawn own the rights to the IP. So it will be up to them what happens in the future.
I think it's a modified Source engine I'd say probably a very good chance
Except they don't own Respawn so don't see how that's applicable.
