I remember back in the day I use to play the ones on the GBA and one of (maybe the only one) on GC.
Are there any good ones out there?

I know of the ones on PC that are free.

there is a 3DS YGO releasing on 3DS. It's bascially YGO World Tournament 2013.

YGO 5Ds for the PS3/360 has stupid AI and it's a chore to grind cards.

The problem with the current YGO games on DS, are that they have an extraordinarily high learning curve. They're merciless, they'll kick your ass and they'll send you back to the main menu without even feeling bad.

That said, those are pretty much the most comprehensive games you'll find today, with thousands and thousands of cards. But after funding my old copies of the PC games that feature themed duels with Yugi, Kaiba and Joey, I've been having way more fun with those lately.

Just turn off the volume and speed up the game, if you decide to play Destiny,Revenge or Passion.

Yugioh Forbidden Memories on PS1. Great game with a great soundtrack but it's really tough unless you grind for good cards (how long depends on your luck).

You don't have to type /sub or argue with your opponent on card rulings. Its automatic.

Tag Force 5 had a lot of the cards, I don't follow the game so I don't know what was missing but as a guy who liked his trading card games it certainly filled an inch at the time.

Yup, it's one of the reasons I switched over from Dueling network. I haven't played Yugioh in a while ever since me and my friends abruptly stopped playing it, but Devpro made everything easy and the customization options were great.

Dueling Network is your best bet if you want all cards and a constantly updated meta game.

This is one I want to try, it's the ONLY original YGO from 7th Gen (DS, PSP, Wii, 360, PS3) onward.

I'm in the vast minority, but I adored Falsebound Kingdom on GC, it's a traditional JRPG instead of a card game, had a great soundtrack, felt like Pokemon Stadium at times and playing as the god cards were badass.

Always wished for a sequel.

Dual Transer for Wii has like 4500 cards, luckily it was delayed from the original schedule from only like 3900 cards I think? Find it easily(?) for $10 if you do see it in stores nowadays lol.

The GameBoy games used to do a million plus just in Japan. As the franchise has cooled down, so has sales. Konami still makes them because they're cheap and act as an advertisement for the physical TCG.

I would recommend YGO World Championship 2010 for the DS. It has two main modes.

The story mode is a great learning tool as most of the duelists in the mode use relatively weak decks in the beginning and eventually it gets harder. There is also enough variety in the story mode to keep things interesting (solving puzzles, duels with special rules, etc. The actual story itself is pretty self contained and has the best arc in 5d's so I think you'd like it if you liked the original series.

The other mode is World Championship mode, which is the "comp" mode. The ai you face in this mode use strategies and decks are usually upper-level so if you want a more deep experience after you complete the story mode, there's that.

I also would recommend the game since it contains one of the best formats (cardpool) in the game. Most of the decks feel very balanced and there's no win button deck in the game (except maybe

Decade Duels and Millennium Duels are basically paid free-to-play games. To get good cards you need to grind tonnes, or buy DLC packs. They're not worth buying.

Your best bet is to get the upcoming 3DS game (DD-only in North America) or pick up Tagforce 5 on PSP. There's a fan translation for Tagforce 6, but I don't know how comprehensive that is.

+1. IIRC the 3DS game starts you out with every card available in the deck builder (unlike the other games where you have to unlock cards), but also has a mode where you play with character themed decks if starting with every card is overwhelming.

Depends on what you want from it. I'm enjoying the new one (Millenium Duels?) quite a bit but there's definitely an element of Pay 2 Win. I probably would skip it and just go for DevPro if all you wanna do is make decks and play against people.

Yu Gi Oh Capsule Monster Coliseum on PS2. I think its extremely good.But its sort of a chess game with its own rules.
