I bought a new Dualshock 3 last week for this, even keeping it in the clamshell until the game is out with a note on it that reads "in case of GTAV break clamshell".

I feel like such a dork haha.

Can you get a pic of the map? Really curious how much different it is compared to GTA:SA.
 
probably the big ones like IGN and gamespot , polygon and kotaku will get their review copy the first. Then the other site's.
 
If they haven't gotten them yet, the game will probably leak before they even have them. I'm surprised it hasn't yet, since we're only two weeks out from release now.

Games usually don't start leaking until the retail stores get them, it's only now they are slowly trickling in.

yeah I dont know. SR driving feels so odd. Like plastic cars with no substance at all.
On the other hand GTA4 driving, although its not perfect, is a dream!
Lets hope it will still maintain its driving model.

I managed to take advantage of the 90% discount on Razer's site, the Razer Sabertooth is kick-ass.

Around here, they are pegged to arrive on the 11th or 12th according to my friend. Wednesday and Thursday are usually 'incoming shipment days' - Nothing ever happens Friday.

Well, at least GTA IV event was a full month before release. We were able to work on our review with a decent timing. Same with RDR. As much as I hate review events, they're better than total blackout or "we'll send you a retail copy after every pirate and gs manager friend already reviewed it".
 
lmao best hack ever. A perverse part of me hopes it never comes to nextgen just to piss off all the 'imma wait' crowd. Fuck them.

I have a 360 and a PS3, too bad that there will be no reviews before launch date. Because of the gamepad I pre-ordered the 360 version, but if the graphics are better on PS3 I made the wrong discussion. Furthrmore I could play GTA Online for free on PS3. When GTA IV hit stores, you got at least 1 month Xbox Live Gold.

Actually you're probably right. People who obsess over framerates and resolutions are like stupid audiophiles, they need everything smooth and filed off. Gimme grain and noise and jaggies I don't give a fuck as long as the game is good. I grew up playing doom, I can handle some blurry pixel shit.
 
Have any additional radio stations been discovered beyond what was found in the initial leak? I'm going to be so sad if there isn't a dedicated metal station. Hell, there wasn't even a rock station! Surely it was an impartial list, right?

There were still a lot of radio's/songs not leaked. It is missing more than 10 hours according to some info.

Literally just happened to me too! It was a sad state of affairs, ended up picking up a Slim in anticipation. I seriously spent half the day just downloading Rockstar games to put on the harddrive to ease the pain of waiting.

Nothing like some Table Tennis!
 
Are we able to listen to the music tracks and radio stations anywhere even when walking with the in-game phone?

They still got around 5 apps they haven't revealed right?

15 out of 17 radio stations are known and none are dedicated to metal.
