I don't know about that. LoL and DOTA2 are approaching WoW levels of popularity. Again, though, removing CN and KOR from the equation, I wonder what NA/EU give WoW in concurrent users. Wish I could track down that data.
Not from what I can tell, that only happens when the world lists loading is janky sometimes.

When you get that NA/EU error that pops up, is it best to close out of the game and re-log back in, or just keep spamming 0?

Restart the client until the NA/EU servers are available. I kept doing that earlier and it worked for me.
Thanks for this. Very little played time over this holiday weekend because of these errors. I just want to pew pew with carbuncle.

I really am torn here. For a game I've enjoyed ever second of the little play time I've gotten, this is just beyond ridiculous at this point. I almost just don't feel like playing it anymore because of the login issues.
The fact that they feel adding world servers is more important than adding idle kicking is a pretty strong indication that there is still some very backwards thinking going on behind the scenes. It concerns me what other problems the future may hold and what brilliant strategies they may bring into the fold to combat them.

there is a bot for spamming log-in but now I think we need a bot just to restart the fucking client every 20 seconds due to lobby errors.

So what exactly are they doing on Wednesday? Are they just adding more worlds people can play on? I don't see how that will really help worlds that are already super full. It's not like people will want to start over again. >.>

Game blew up, all NPCs/PCs/textures disappeared/stopped loading. Cracks on the ground where I could see the water below.

2 simple solutions that would improve quality of life.
1. A working login queue.
2. Idel kicking.
implement those two and the bitching will become almost non existent.

From the announcement on the launcher, it seems like they're implementing fixes and server updates with the 10 hour maintenance.
It's why I throw in the towel after ENOUGH trouble. Especially with the security token factored in.On the PS3 this is such a lengthy process

Servers go down tomorrow at 8:00 EST to upgrade to a new data center. After that hopefully most of the problems will be solved. If you can wait, I definitely would.

If you want to actually play the game when you buy it, yes I'd wait a bit personally.
Wait until mid-September. Sure, most players will be way ahead of you by then, but I think some guild members might be willing to help.

At this point a ton of people are already off-put by the whole experience, and will probably bail on the game.

Wow, got into a party with the FC for Cutter's Cry. The first enemy hit me with error 90000!
File > Start. Also, make sure numlock is on. Oh and... this method is sort of useless now due to 1017 being the least of the login issues. Loading the na/eu lists rarely happens now.

I have done all that, but still nothing. And yeah, it isn't useful right now really but for later... D:
Got to the boss of Brayflox this morning and the tank got 90ked, even once you're logged in, the fragile network can still ruin your experience

Lol!!! I did the dungeon " forgot the name " but it had the first dragon boss I've seen and I didn't know limit breaks can get to level 3. Guy told me to limit break level 2 hit the boss for 2700. I was like holyyyyyyyy shiiiiit lol can't wait to see what level 3 looks like.
