The previews mentioned the driving would be more in line with Midnight Club LA. I would too be disappointed if they deviated too much from IV's driving, hopefully it's somewhere in between.

I'm starting to become super excited - so much that it's getting a little bit hard playing FFXIV but maybe that have more to do with the current server problems.
It'll be the first time I play a GTA on a HDTV, as I bought GTA IV while I were on vacation in Asia and only had a standard SDTV for a month

I just ordered a copy of this, looking forward to it though I might end up just playing through Gay Tony and calling it good.

I know Tyler the Creator is an acquired taste but that song sample was dope.
Although DJ Pooh and the country station will probably my most played stations, depending on what character I'm playing as.

Oh well, at least I'll get exposed to new tracks. I guess I can always play with my iPod on too. It's so much fun causing massive destruction to a badass heavy metal track.

So I'm considering buying San Andreas on XLive. GTA IV (and it's subsequent DLCs) and Chinatown Wars are the only two GTAs I've played. I am well aware that SA is considered the best in the series, but even with all of the gameplay frustrations in IV, I still have a hard time imagining that it would be easy to take an even bigger step back and play San Andreas. Plus, having never experienced Los Santos before, it seems like seeing everything fresh for the first time in V would be nice. On the other hand, understanding the history of the progression of Los Santos from SA to V seems cool, and I'm sure there will be easter eggs as well. And it WILL help pass the time.

I don't know, I'm struggling with this, too. I definitely want to preorder it, so it's likely I won't have the benefit of actual analysis like patient people will. It isn't even all about which version is better, my xbox live gold expires in October and I don't really feel the need to extend it since my PS4 is arriving in November and I don't know the last time I played a 360 game online.
But I really dislike playing games on PSN. Ugh, what to do what to do...

Feels like two years to me, lol. I remember that huge dry spell of no news at all after that first trailer was revealed. It was like 8 or 9 months of nothing and then R* released two pictures.

Difficult to determine. Audio files were leaked, which could spoil the game if you had the right context.

I'm in the same boat, I've preordered on 360 as a sort of sent off to Xbox that GTA V is going to be my last purchase before PS4, but tempted to get the PS3 version as heard it was the lead platform?
Think I'll stick with my sentimental ways...
I'm sure they will, they'll almost certainly disable trophies/achievements though if you care about that.
