There is a metal version of that set for melee. IIRC in Version 1.0 they were less relevant. Don't know how I feel about them being the best gear for their level now. They are not particularly offensive to my tastes, at least when compared to every female character not having pants for a bunch of armor sets in this game versus males.
I mean in our free company.

The Auto-Translate Function was best used for talking about Mithra fun holes since the JP and EN players didn't really interact too much. Now that JP and NA/EU have separate server clusters it's entirely redundant except to talk about Roegadyn Full Thrusts.

I think you have to move out of the way before the meter gets anywhere near finished. Even if you move before the attack commences, it has to be early on.

If it's any consolation, the last three or so days I've had a bit more latency than usual and I've heard a few other people say the same. Could have been something on the server side of things causing it.
We really need a prunning. 512 members, but the chat makes it seem like we only have 50.

Higher level FATE's ramp up
Most start giving 10K easily
From level 25 on almost 99.5% of FATE's are 10K+
There are some which are 3-4 part FATE phases, which give roughly 25-150K
First 4 parter FATE is the Highbridge scenario is in Eastern Thanlaan with Attack on Highbridge
Costa has many FATE's close to each other, which you cycle up and down, left and right on the Cancer side
In a Cancer pop till next Cancer pop, you can gain 1.5 levels easily just doing FATE's
Partying up is essential, if you solo, your doing it wrong + losing out on XP + Seals

Oh, I will definitely chat it up. I like to run dungeons and help people out. I mean, is that not what a FC is for? Or do people have their set groups within the FC and don't branch out to the others?

Haven't spent TOO much time there since getting my airship pass. I don't know why, I just prefer to do my between quest leveling in Thanalan more often then not.

That's in Amdapoor Keep btw... I offtanked every pull up to the first boss as a WHM because the tank never picked up anything but his initial target. A mixture of bombing heals on myself + him + sleeping the odd mob here and there got us to the first boss where we ended up just disbanding when he couldn't pick up any of the adds nor hold on to the boss.
Right after that Ragnar came and laid the smack down tank-wise.

Finally got in last night on my sub account and hammered away at Lancer until I hit level 10. It's a strong class with decent synergy, but it feels too slow and repetitive for my liking.
Leg Sweep (3-second stun) offers a few new play options since you can Feint, True Strike, Vorpal, Sweep, circle to back Impulse Drive, and then Feint again.
Nice damage, too.
I'm looking for something a little more dynamic though. Target up close is a pain as well. I miss out on a lot of monsters during FATEs because I'm not targeting monsters fast enough.
I might switch over to Pugilist, or try Archer / Thaumaturge. Arcanist seems fun but pet management with a controller feels like it'll be a frustrating experience.

If you're doing FATEs, your entire party shares a ranking. So being in a full group pretty much guarantees that you'll get gold, while some tougher bosses or more chaotic trash rushes tend to hand out silver to soloers.
