Two pictures per post and 3 posts in a row max dude.

Alright CRAZY idea I'm throwing out here but if you set Chromattic Abberation to a NEGATIVE value with SweetFx, would it be possible to remove it from games that have it by default?

Someone should test this out, though I'm guessing instead of red and blue lines it'll just be purple lines everywhere.

Edit: Also, where'd you get the new version of SweetFx?

It will make it worse unfortunately. It'd be like undoing bloom.

I'll upload all my used mods 'n stuff tomorrow

After I've gone and permanently replaced all my textures with ME3Explorer so I don't need texmod... blasted!

And SSAA? Not SGSSAA? Which flag does that work with? I've never really screwed around with anything except SGSSAA

So, I wonder, do people have a problem with the Copyright info on the bottom?

And, would it be legal for us to copyright our own screenshots, or whatever? I remember sometimes we'd get the short end of the stick when some website would steal our shots...

Just some thinking out loud...

Wow the lighting in this. I'll you'll say later, but is there a great deal more than textures changed here?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just textures (maybe SweetFX?). Like a lot of Unreal Engine 3 games, Mass Effect 3 uses a lot more lights during cut scenes. The fact that you can pause and freecam cut scenes is what makes this such an attractive game to screenshot.

The in-game screenshot generator of Final Fantasy XIV takes compressed images. Please don't post them here. Use Fraps or SweetFX to take uncompressed PNGs.

Actually, there's a PNG option for screenshots in the options menu, try that. I don't know how the IQ of those turn out. Using third-party capture software will also remove the Square Enix copyright from the bottom left.

They are old shots circa 2011 and it's not possible to play 1.0 anymore. I just thought i'd post shots so people can see the contrast in how the two games look.
2.0 has really shitty ground textures IMO. 1.0 had great ground textures for the most part (Only problem was the occasional normal map compression artifacts)

I know the no JPG compression rule but it slipped my mind.(I usually take all my shots in PNG. but these are really old so)

As well I dont' see the problem with Hud information or copyright information. Obviously SE put it there for a reason and if you want to crop it out, it's fine either way to me. (As you can see I did crop it out of one of my 1.0 shots)

Also: Someone actually MADE a CA shader for SweetFX?

WHY.

It look so much better than the current gen version lol.

I feel like with this engine, they lost the texture of a lot of things. Everything feels a bit plastic-y with the new game, compared to Conviction where I feel like a sweater looked like it was a sweater... Maybe it's just my memory trolling me...

The texture work seems fine, its only what Sam's wearing that has changed. There is a bit of a shine to everything but leather still looks like leather and nylon still looks like nylon. Sam is just back to wearing the generic paramilitary getup instead of something more casual.

for some reason, I can't get rid of my hud in Bioshock Infinite... wtf...

How are you trying to do it? The way I remember doing it is editing the XGame.ini file and setting these values as such.

[XCore.XScreenManager]
bUseDefaultSafeRect=false
SafeRectX0=0
SafeRectY0=0
SafeRectX1=7680
SafeRectY1=4320
MaxDefaultSafeRectAspectRatio=1

Two Brothers and FF14 look AMAZING, I love how clear and clean the shots are.

Also that one shot of Skyrim with the crazy downsampling and grass is outstanding. Is there a way to get that at a playable framerate? D:

Very nice screens, Lime. ;)

Thank you. It's good to be back again :)

AMD card.

I think your textures will probably be the same as the ones I've compiled. Besides, I think it's possible to overwrite with the MOD files through ME3explorer.

Yes, like Neoenigma said, it's just the 3 cinematic lights used during cutscenes in Mass Effect 3, nothing more. Only thing changed is the textures, otherwise I'm not using any other visual changes.

This is the best screenshot of Conviction that I was able to take, from the Bullshot thread.

To me, Conviction looks like a game from 2010, and Blacklist looks like a game from 2013.

Man, just love the tone of this game. Literally started getting into Transformers the year this game came out, paid $60 and I wasn't even salty. Pretty average 3rd person shooter that I enjoyed greatly because of the property.

Uh... If you mean mine, it is quite playable. I prefer skyrim locked at 30, and it's butter smooth at 2560 x 1600, and not bad a 4k. Usually smooth. On a 690 though.

Also when I use the fancy manual DoF the frame rate tanks. That shot was with it at about 7-10 fps. But the res was overdone. I had it at 3240 x 4320.

Well damn. Those shadows and speculars! So clean!
