Not gonna lie, I like the Harley redesign. This cover is especially great.

Appears like it's going to be a Deadpool-esque series. Doubt it'll be intimately tied to Suicide Squad. Should likely be safe to go into solo.

I really like that cover and she does look good in it.

I don't mind her getting a different look, she's basically the same character.

Hell originally her design was suppose to be a bit more to what we see these days in the comics and games but since it was a cartoon it had to be tame.

Has anyone here used the Marvel AR app? I'm reading the first trade of the new Deadpool series (which I'm really enjoying) and the app just straight up doesn't work properly. Either it doesn't even open and I have to uninstall then install it again, or it starts scanning the panel before automatically closing itself, or (most commonly) it just doesn't even recognise that it's looking at an AR panel and does nothing.

How much money and effort went into developing this app? Most of the comments on the Google Play store say the same thing, that it just doesn't work. I thought it might have been a fun little gimmick, if only for a while, but it's just frustrating.

Dan Didio is a fuxking cunt. I dont know what kind of self talk he does to juatify his actions. I really worry for the new Veritog series as much as I am excited for them and thats saying alot. He said a couple months before they were announced that every Vertigo series should do comics superstar numbers out of the gate. I always looked at Vertigo and was under the impression it was more of a TPB, collection, bookstore market than supes. :/

They should let him talk more.

I read the first few trades. It's good stuff. Haven't got back to the series in a while actually. Think I was debating on switching to the hardcovers they'd released.

Check out the first couple of issues. I remember really enjoying it towards the end of the first trade.

I would imagine he is focused more on showing her in a non-sexual light. The addition of toasters probably doesn't make her sexier.

Count me as someone who was going to get the Harley title but now probably won't. But that is about more than the suicide thing. Also the image someone posted earlier with Joker punching Haley... If that's what I can get reading Haley books then big no thank you.

And, anyway, at this point I'm starting to feel dirty buying DC books. As time goes on the evidence piles up suggesting that they dont treat creators well. I'll be keeping my DC books to a minimum. But im not so prinicipled that I'll give up the DC ongoing I'm most invested in- Batwoman.

Sexiness is subjective. You say taking the hat off is sexier; I say keeping it on is. DC is now caught in a conundrum that has no 'right' answer.

So I just finished reading the first omnibus of Matt Wagner's Grendel, Hunter Rose. Fantastic story, I really like that he first gives you a summary of Hunter Rose's life before going in depth at certain periods of his life. It's pretty interesting how this just started as a sort story but over time became something much, much bigger.

Worked at the flagship store for a year (times square) and the owners don't really care about comics, their main focus is profit above all else. They've been firing their warehouse staff and hiring migrant workers at lower rates.
