Thats the first time ive seen some Batwoman panels. She looks like Duela Dent.

These haven't released yet but they are my most anticipated. You can start collecting them from the beginning :3Ok guys, odd question. I want to get into weekly comics. So name me the top 5 books you are reading right now and I will give them a go if I don't already read them.
I read:
Saga
Batman
Hakeye
Batwoman(ish)
Batgirl
Miles Spiderman
Suicide Squad
Chew
I think thats it. I am open to all suggestions, kind of want to get into some kind of team book. Young Avengers maybe? I like Kate bishop.
Just read infinity #2. Holy shit. When gladiator started talking I had to get on my knees and kneel. Such power. @____@
Thank you based Hickman
I got back into comics around the middle of last month after almost a decade, and I have since spent hundreds at Comixology (a difficult decision, print vs. digital, but in the end it was the space-saving that led me to digital).
I'm currently caught up with and plan to pull monthly:
DC
Batman
Aquaman
Wonder Woman
Marvel
All-New X-Men
Uncanny X-Men
X-Men
Daredevil
Thor: God of Thunder
Hawkeye
Superior Foes of Spider-Man
Image
Lazarus
Saga
East of West
Manhattan Projects
Problem is, I'm now insatiable! I have a Marvel Unlimited subscription as well, and I'm at issue 3 of New Avengers and issue 8 of Avengers. I'm very interested in Infinity, but that means even more money to catch up to it. Is it worth it? I am a fan of Hickman's long-term storytelling (more-so when it involves known characters. I'm not completely enamored with East of West, yet, since it's all very vague at this point).
Also, I am interested in Trinity War/Forever Evil. Is it necessary to read the Justice League of America and Justice League Dark issues of Trinity War or can I just read Justice League and be good to go into Forever Evil?
I'm loving Battle of the Atom, by the way. I think I just love the idea of events, heh
What do you think about Saga?
This will probably get me flamed, but I don't think it's quite as great as the common consensus suggests.
The chief problem for me is the setting, which apart from the war between the planet and its moon, is vaguely defined. It seems Vaughn is just throwing any cool thing he can think of into the stories without any clear direction or rules. For me, good world-building is key in a sci-fi title. If he has a long-term plan in place, and means to flesh out the setting as we go forward, then this complaint will go away. But, as it stands, we're a year in already and I don't have much of an understanding of the overall universe.
I also think it can be gratuitously "mature" a little too often. To me it seems more like he's going for shock value more than story advancement with so many of those moments. I have no problems with the content, it's just all the time, and with little actual impact.
The art is hands-down amazing, though, and I do very much enjoy the story and anxiously await the next issue. I just don't feel it's the magnum opus the hype suggests.
I've been saying since like the 3rd issue that SAGA is more art and world building than plot/story. Not a bad book, but not BKV's top work by any means.
I enjoy it, but I certainly don't think it's worth love.
I would not flame you for having an opinion and defending your point. I can agree with the lack of world building but part of what I like is really never knowing what is coming on the next page. I seriously thought I was going to die laughing when I seen Prince Robot IV having sex with his wife and then another time when he was on the phone taking a shit.
I am glad we can both agree the art is amazing. I also love the hand written lettering ofdialogue. I am not sure if I needed to spoiler that but it is a bit of a plot thing early on.Hazels
I am sure you get this a lot, but wanted to tell you for a while. That tattoo is one of the most fantastic tattoos I have ever seen. Well done on that![]()
They would have been mid-story arc, so this was kinda expected.Shit, DC must be angry. They kicked Blackman and Williams off of Batwoman two issues early.
Lists!
Star Wars #9
FBP #3
Locke & Key Alpha #1
Prophet #39
Walking Dead #114
Fearless Defenders #9
X-Men #5
How's Sterling Gates as a writer? He's writing the Killer Frost book that's coming out this week and I like the look of that villain. But I don't want to bother with it of he's not a particularly quality writer.
The series with the best covers continues to have the best covers.

That is a d_c_ move!

That preview for Locke & Key: Alpha, brutal...
I don't want it to end(((

He's good. Cleaned up Supergirl when it was a mess pre-52. Has also been writing JLA: Vibe, which has been great, especially the character of Agent Gunn of ARGUS, a gay married man.
Stay classy, DC.
Said it in the other topic, but I really don't understand calling out DC over getting rid of them like this after what they did. Anytime you air dirty laundry like this you're going to be shitcanned. You can't just come out and publicly air shit about your employers like that and not expect this kind of reaction. It's just something you do not do in a corporate environment like that, and pretty standard procedure at any company like that to be fired for what they did. Rule of thumb is always if you're having problems internally, handle it internally, and if you gotta whistleblow, do it anonymously.
Vibe - the secret most diverse DC book. Also the secret best DC book with Aquaman.
I do, I'm still waiting to read the final volume after all. Plus nobody likes a story that pads itself. I guess they can make a spinoff focusing on past key holders.

ComicList says it comes out 10/30.So intense! I have such an emotional attachment to the characters. It's going to be difficult reading these last two issues. Is the *final* issue next month, or is there another delay after this issue?
JL3000 might be the book im most pissed about DC screwing up
