If it leaks it will be worse for me. I don't want to watch gameplay before I get it; and if I break down and watch it, it will make the wait even more unbearable.

Depends on where you live really. I would personally just preorder it just to be safe. You dont really lose anything by doing so.
A few days ago I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered it, I'll double-dip on PC for the mods whenever it comes out. I'm going to crash my blimp into a police station first chance I get!
I'm especially hyped for all the heists, hopefully they're a souped up version of the one in GTA IV. I'll get Payday sometime but GTA's the priority.

i don't know if it has been mentioned before, but i would really love to see the use of the indicator in the game. when i play missions and go for a serious take on them, i drive with driving rules applied. it really got me out of the immersion playing gta iv when there was no possibility to indicate which turn you are going to take.
i hope indicator is the blinky thing from the car to show others if you turn left/right.
as stupid as it sound, it is one of my most wanted features for gta v.

Should have the game Sunday now its been confirmed by the shop.
The decision is what system to get it on. I want to get it on Xbox 360 for online but worried since we haven't see any footage of it.
Kind hope that the game leaks out so I can see how well it performs and looks.

I don't think they have. It's their usual cycle: consoles first, PC 5-6 months later.

Rockstar have said they'll look pretty much identical. IGN played it on 360 too and noted it performed well.
The way I look at it is all the R* openworld games have been better on 360 this gen.
The PS3 version of GTAV they've shown looks very good. So I have no worries for the 360 version.
I think everyone will be happy.

I didn't. I'm sure there will be plenty of copies most everywhere. But you might not want to trust me. It wouldn't be a huge deal to me if everyone was somehow sold out and I had to wait a day or two.

Sony is going all out with the ads in the UK, I was driving through town and every giant billboard I passed was for the game with the PS3 logo slapped on the bottom. Have they rolled out their TV ad yet?

It was available in GTA IV, but it was automatic. You only ever see turn signals from your vehicle if you're following a GPS path.
I think it'll be the same thing this time around, though it'd be funny to be able to do that with the press of a button. Wonder how many people online would actually follow a fake turn signal in the middle of a chase.
Have not seen any TV ads yet. Bit surprised by this.

Every time I go into GS to pre-order something, there's a line of people wanting to talk about games and bs with the employees and it drives me crazy. So I usually just wait for launch day and go to a K-mart in the area. Not many people think of that around here, thank god.

So I found my PAL PS2 (240V), step down converter (live in the USA now), component cables and copy of the game bought on day one...
Get it all set up. I appear to have the ONLY LCD TV in the entire universe that won't do PAL!!! How the hell did that happen. It displays the top half the picture when using composite video (bottom half is off the bottom of the screen), but when I switch to component, it brings up a message saying 'unable to display this format'. WTF.
