I agree, but there's not really a lot to build a moveset out of to justify a whole character. "She hovers" and "she creates barriers" is pretty much it from what I can remember. I mean, I guess they've made more from less before, but between Peach alt/clone and no Rosalina at all, I'd take the former.
 
I'm not sure if it's from Mario Galaxy. It could be Battlefield during night time.

Her moveset would be reasonably unique, if nothing else.

I imagine that if Rosalina were to appear, she'd most likely be an Assist Trophy or part of a Galaxy stage. One can dream though.

Captain falcon drives a car. It took 3 games to add that to his moveset.

She would be fine.

His move set reflects the car. Fast with lots of flames.

So by the argument she should have a move set that reflects Mario Galaxy. So a lot of moves that launch you from one part of the stage to another.
 
Her B- Up could be a Sling Star recovery, with you being able to control your trajectory briefly. Maybe her B-Neutral could be her shooting Star Bits, and her B-Down raising that barrier?

Oddly enough, I feel like a dommammu moveset would fit, but instead of hellfire, cosmic space theming aand sparkles

Its something that hasn't been talked about. Its better tham the usual we go through.

But yes, i'm really curious on the MG Stage. I have never played the games but I always loved its look.

One more, espically a cool space star/planet creating lady, wouldn't hurt. Or Bowser Jr, Our bodies would not be ready fo his flyness. Also Loz and Pokemon might be getting moree reps, because lucario and mewtwo have reasons to stay. A new windwaker remake is happening and other junk.

Mario isn't the only series with a buncha reps.

Like I said, I'd prefer for other franchises to get more representation before they went back to the Mario well because realistically, Mario/Luigi/Peach/Bowser are really all you need in that regard. If for whatever reason they decided to add her though, I wouldn't complain.

Which is why I said a costume in the first place. Nice for fans of the character without eating up an extra roster slot on a franchise that already has its primaries present.

Easily. Best Mario character full stop. Waluigi doesn't really deserve to be lumped in with Daisy though.
 
I had a dream last night that I was in a concert hall in Japan. The orchestra was playing Nintendo-tunes. Suddenly, Iwata came on stage and started to scat the original Super Mario song. It was pretty good. Then three older guys, all Nintendo-excecutives, came on stage and started to dance. The oldest turned out to be Sakurai. He looked and danced like Elvis. Everyone was shocked that he looked so old but still danced so well.
 
Speaking of Mario, Friday will mark 28 years since the original release of Super Mario Bros in Japan. Maybe we'll see something then?

I'm hopeful because it's my birthday as well :v
 
Rosalina's final smash can be "story time" where everyone falls asleep and she hits everyone with books


What if it's a Kirby stage though? The Fountain stage from melee was at night and it looked sorta like space.

That's what they were talking about. Heath posted the WFT picture to say "see, stars and shit, the Kirby picture is Battlefield." Qurupeke wasn't saying the WFT picture was a Mario Galaxy stage, they were talking about the Kirby picture.
 
pretty cool the MG stage has MG styled lighting. Can't wait to see Mario on that stage, it'll probably look really cool.

I also have incredible hopes for the music for the stage. The music of Mario Galaxy is the best ever, I expect nothing less than a grand orchestrated medley of Galaxy's best.
 
Fountain of Dreams from Melee?

I hope they bring some stages back. I would llove to see Saffron City from N64 on the 3DS version

Due to his condition, Sakurai has no concept of age, birthdays, or anniversaries.
 
the lighting kind of makes the hammer texture look kind of bad though

but you'll only see the hammer for a few seconds every so often and in fast motion, so it doesn't really matter.
