How do you guys feel about these teasy screenshots that technically show a new stage without revealing anything? (Galaxy, Pilotwings.)

I hope it happens for a stage then. It's reallllyyyyy pretty.
I don't mind it. It's fun to speculate and it makes discussions last longer. It helps to deal with annoying droughts, I'd rather learn bits and bits of a new stage for a week then to learn the entire stage in one day and deal with a drought of news for the rest of the week. Know what I'm saying?

I prefer them to screenshots that aren't teasy and show nothing new at all.
That's not strictly true, they've been doing them for Pokemon X & Y.

I really enjoy them. Gives just enough to promote speculation and hype without totally blowing his load all at once like he would with the Dojo. He's shown quite a bit on the website but we still don't know some of the details behind it such as if Olimar can only have 3 Pikmin out at a time or whether or not Ridley is a stage hazard or the exact route of the planes in Pilotwings and if there's more than the SNES stage/Wuhu. If this was the Dojo, he probably would've already spoiled all this in one post.

Nintendo Directs tend to air at 10AM EDT here. I checked what time it would be in every time zone on the planet, and in not a single one would it be the day prior to the one I'd be watching the ND on.
You cannot use that loophole, because it doesn't exist.

Galaxy 1/2 OST one of the best OSTs ever and probably rated as the best in any Mario game ever by the most people. I strongly disagree with the notion that 3D Land's music is similar to NSMB's. It's more similar to SM64.
It's okay, we all get like that sometimes, especially me.

Speaking of Mario music, I just beat Sticker Star and realized "Kersti's Power" is probably the most elaborate Starman/Wing Cap remix ever made in a Nintendo game. And it would sound GREAT in Smash especially in a Mario Galaxy stage. But it'd be nice to have something as iconic as the Starman theme as a battle theme without it sounding as plain and simple as the original (used for the actual Starman item).
If there was one thing good about Sticker Star, it was that it had a damn fine soundtrack.
Mmm. Yes, I'd love to see this song in the game.

If we're now wishing for arrangements from other games to appear in Smash then I'd like to hear a higher quality version of the Mario Paint arrangement from Wario Ware Touched (starts about 50 seconds in).
Why the Pictochat stage didn't have music from Mario Paint I'll never know.

Probably right now it's a very bare phase and it's surely not how it will appear in the end (I suppose that's the last thing they work on) so it'd be useless.

Smash 64 was mostly black.
Melee was kind of purple.
Brawl was white.
Notice they are similar to the primary colour of the system they appeared on so will U's be black and 3DS' blue?
It's okay, they're stretching out the reveals but it's fun to speculate.

Imagine the speculation after that reveal.

Not entirely clued up on W101 or if it's even a first party Nintendo title - they've been pushing it like hell lately, but I still don't think they'd add Wonder Red so I'm not sold on those rumors at all. Last I heard the game flopped somewhat didn't it?
I can't wait until the Wii U has more titles worth picking one up for, and I'm really hoping Smash doesn't get delayed until next autumn or anything. Slightly off topic but I do feel the Wii U wasn't marketed well enough as a completely separate entity from the Wii. I think the general consensus is that it's just a peripheral, which is why hopefully in the next 12 months it should be getting more solid first party titles.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up for any announcements, but these screenshots are killing me, mind, at this point in Brawl development I think we had even less information. A trailer that ties up some loose ends and moderates the hype again would be nice right about now.

The property is owned by Nintendo, yes. Wonder Red is a possibility I guess but I don't think they'll add him either. Maybe as an assist.
It soured mine when people where actually saying that in the MH direct thread! Still I will admit I laughed at that.
Anyways I liked SSBB's menu I hope they use lighter colors, I think that worked well.
Same dude who said that also thinks Nintendo is preventing the industry from "maturing". Just laugh at his posts.

It's just amazing to think it all started last December, when he predicted Wii U would have sold fantastically after launch in Japan, but then reality kicked in and it started showing Wii U's bad sales. Everyone mocked at him before sales datas released, and also after they came out. Since then, massive hate for Nintendo. It can't be a coincidence, guys.
Being IT: come on, Sakurai, a SMG stage was one of the things I was waiting for, I want it to be as amazing as both the Galaxy titles. So, literally stellar.
