PokéBOMB XII: The Final CoroCountdown

Shellgon is badass.

Really early to say this, but this may end up being my favorite generation based on design. I'm literally loving every design so far if I'm not including the mega evolutions. I usually hate the early revealed Pokemon the most, but I really dig 95% of what's been shown so far up till this point.

It seems that the even-numbered generations are consistently my favorites, at least design-wise (never really played Gen II, you see).

Sorry for mis-info somewhat, didn't know how truthful Pokejungle is.. just posting what I saw.

But you guys are right, it'd be dumb for a one time use item to be passed out as an event....

Holy fucking shit at the Fairy type chart. Also, LMFAO at Fennekin and Chespin's evos. Froakie's is so far above them it's not funny. #TeamFroakie.

Who cares about Salamence though? He's easily the most forgettable of the typical dragon trio in each gen. He is probably more battle ready than Dragonite though.

Salamence is one of the best dragon types, up there with Haxorus, Garchomp, and etc.

I'm #teamchespin.

Fuck y'all haters. ;p

Well, I hope you are going to read the reactions of your fellow #TeamChespin members who are on a blackout. :p

Hoping for a good 3rd stage really badly.

Clarification. Fairy-Type is:

  • Super-effective against Fighting, Dragon, and Dark
  • Not very effective against Fire, Poison, and Steel
  • Weak to Poison and Steel
  • Immune to Dragon

Charizard may have dodged a bullet here by remaining the same type now I just hope stealth rocks gets nerfed and is ineffective on flying types. xP Maybe then Charizard could become somewhat usable.

Seems a lot of older Pokemon are getting buffed by this type changing. It still seems apparent that gamefreak doesn't want to make perfect balance so you buy their next games since they didn't properly balance Ice and Grass, but Charizard being a more viable option now is great.

Yeah, I'm bracing myself for those reactions. I'm pretty sure that most of them probably wouldn't be happy.

How so? What other changes that I'm not aware of?

Ah just woke up to this news. So Fennekin's evolutions tail becomes a broomstick? That's so awesome I love it. Trex is exclusive to X isn't it? Fuck. Chespins evo is...interesting and Froakies is awesome.

Here's the type chart in English:

I didn't notice any changes other than Fairy being added and Steel losing its Dark and Ghost resists, but maybe I missed something.

Crap, you're faster than me, I'm actually half-way through. Although I was O, X and △ lol

Salamence>Garchomp>Hydreigon>Haxorus>Dragonite

Then Mega Tyranitar comes in and stomps all over your list spreading FUD

Could you imagine the insanity?

"Dragon Charizard!"

"DAMN IT... DAMN"

Experienced PokeGAF question: How viable is EV training neccesary stats in pokemon. Would't you want to EV train your Charizard so has more than average defense. I'm thinking its a good strategy or do you really only EV train stats that pokemon are already proficient in??

I actually don't like Fennekin2 more. Looks too effeminate. :P
you mean feminine

normaly only stat's which are already good. there are some exceptions. but you would waste your ev's if you try a defensive charizard imo.

Teerunaa looks fantastic, as does Gerogashira.

Mega Mewtwo X is like, the ugliest Pokémon ever. Mega Mewtwo Y looks miles better.
