Yeah, I've visited the mibbit chat a few times under the moniker vbA, just nice to finally feel like a part of the group. I would love to participate in a brawl tournament whenever one goes down (although I'll likely get destroyed)

Because he doesn't belong. His Nintendo presence is minimal and if we do happen to get more third party characters I would prefer someone that is more relevant to Nintendo. And there are plenty of other options to choose from that fit the bill, even from other Konami franchises.
Plus I have no attachment to the Metal Gear series so it is easy for me to sharpen the cutting blades.
As I was going through other boards I was surprised at how many people hate the shit out of Waluigi. Is there some kind reason for this I missed? Mario seems to be fully represented already (including extensions via Yoshi DK and Wario) but its not stopping shit like Bowser Jr and Toad from being popular choices.
He seems like a great character to add to represent the Mario minigame series incorporating tons of sports attacks into his moveset, but it looks like Wii Fit trainer bear him there so.

I've said something before in this thread to the effect of; I like Waluigi in those Mario party games and whatever, but he's not really important or even really existent in any mainline Mario/Wario games, and doesn't have much to pull from games for a moveset. While I'd be fine with him playable since they'd have to do *something* fun for him, I think there's a lot more interesting Mario and Wario reps to choose. Personally I'd go for something like a SMRPG/PM/M&L rep who ISN'T just 'paper' Mario or Rosalina for Mario and Mona for Wario.
I also don't think the ambiguity over whether he's a Mario or Wario-franchise rep helps things (if I remember right Brawl's website lists him as a Mario character, not a Wario one).
Bowser Jr.'s the only possible Mario rep I actively dislike, though less so nowadays now that he's not used that often and the Koopalings he was designed to replace are far more prominent in the games.
Yeah, there will be a SSB4 one, Brawl would be impossible because half the fights would be a slideshow, lol.
I could create like a long explanation as to why, but here is my theory.

It's kind of evil how you can only listen to the Stickerbush Symphony remix in one of the most annoying stages in the game.
Also Waluigi's in Mario Kart 8; I wouldn't look too far into him not being in MK7 which was apparently really rushed when it came to its shitty roster.

What other franchises? Only relevant ones in this day and age are PES (lol) and Casltevania (no longer what I cared about).
In all honesty, I don't know like any franchises by Konami other than Metal Gear and Castlevania. Metal Gear is the only one I like. Just thought I'd cover my bases. haha
