The things aren't even comparable, though. You're point is correct, but this isn't even close to being "dickbaggery of the day". Christians living in Muslim countries wish that the worst thing that happens to them is being heckled.

I'm not a Muslim, and this sort of blatant stupidity and ignorance is downright insulting not only to Muslims, but also to humanity.

I have a strong interest in the Middle East, and I've been to Istanbul so far. I find the religion/art/customs to be very interesting, and more importantly, peaceful. Seeing the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque was way cooler than seeing St. Peter's Basilica...

So sad.

Lol, You do realize that Hagia Sophia was originally a church, right? Many of the mosques in the ME were originally churches.

Lets not be pedantic. I'm sure there's a warlord that raped a child rebel somewhere in DR Congo who wins the award for dickbaggery of the day. My thread is strictly focused on this event that happened outside a DC area mosque. I live in US and I care about my country more than any other country in the world. I don't have to explain to you the justification on why I made this thread, but if you feel there are much more important stories, please go ahead with a thread.
