Well, I wouldn't expect it to be a franchise revival unless Capcom has changed their current strategy of using their top Japanese talent to create new IP's. I'd expect this to be Dragon's Dogma 2 or a new IP.

Definitely would. There's no shortage of a "vacuum" present thanks to Bayo2 being exclusive and DmC..."not being what a number of us wanted". If Capcom at all values keeping DMC somewhat relevant, I wouldn't be surprised if they basically said to Itsuno "hey, we need something to reassure the fans" and got him on such a project post-haste after DD:DA was finished. And unless Neo_G is working on a new fighter of some sort, what else would he be doing?

Far as I'm concerned? I'd be fine with a DMC5 that basically took over where 4 left off and just had plenty of content. KobaP owes us at least Lady and Trish after teasing them in the same shameless way he does BASARA NPCs, let alone bringing back Vergil.
 
Im not doing this again. Capcom I have learned my lesson. Im not getting hyped. Im expecting an IOS/Android thing.

This is exactly how I feel. Apologies for my skepticism, but I'm quite weary about hearing anything that is being announced from Capcom Japan, let alone getting excited for something that will most likely be another crummy mobile phone video game.
 
Ono was saying about Rival School on twitter recently, so my guesses are HD remake, F2P like those Namco games or mobile.
 
Lost Planet 4, an iOS game, DmC2...

There are a tonne of bad decisions for Capcom to greenlight here. I'm looking forward to seeing which one they choose.
 
It's one of these 3 things:

Dragon's Dogma 2
Devil May Cry 5
New IP

With Deep Down coming, I doubt they would also have DD2 in the works. New IP is a possibility but I am putting my faith in FUCKING DEVIL MAY CRY 5!!!!!

Damn I forgot Itsuno made CVS2 and Rival Schools as well.

But chances of those two getting a sequel is even less likely than DMC5.

EDIT: WAITWAITWAIT. It's Capcom's 30th anniversary, right? It could be Capcom Fighting Jam 2!
