Once you're in loser's bracket, you have to play twice as many matches to reach the grand final as someone in the winner's bracket. It's hardly a "reward," and everybody is always playing by the same elimination rule throughout: you're out once you've lost twice.I actually like this format... I'm not a fan of double elim. Why would you reward the loser with a second chance?
