Shahid Ahmad: 'Proposed deal for one of the most requested Vita games'

Type-0 thread? Yes please. although I would prefer it on PS3 but I'll take what i can get. I'd love the likes of Valkyria Chronicles 3, the two Vita Tales games and Phantasy Star Nova.

Type-0 above all else though
 
Final Fantasy Type-0 I'm" guessing, I believe their was another highly requested title but I can't remember that one. He manages to grab Phantasy Star Nova or PSO2 I'll find him and give him a bearhug. Keep Hustlin' Shahid.

Also thinking Bioshock Vita...(That isnt a sure thing still yet right?)
 
Phantasy Star Online 2 was my top request, FF Type-0 was my second mention for the cause.

Tales drowned out everything... I wish that fanbase outpouring had also asked for PSO2.
 
How's the story in Type-0, anyways? I know it involves taking missions, but is it like Monster Hunter where it's basically all about going on missions and killing things? Or something more along the lines of Valkyria Chronicles?

I enjoyed it well enough, your typical Action RPG with a mission based structure fit for portables, I dug the game's difficulty (so good) but the AI can be shit at times. Can't really comment on the plot though since I don't understand a lick of Japanese. People are typically 50/50 on the large cast from what I've read, like I said I don't know Japanese so I won't comment too much but I doubt it suffers from the Chrono Cross issue. Overall, I don't praise it as highly as GAF does but that doesn't take away from its quality; if you have enjoyed any of Tabata's output (specifically Crisis Core) then you'll likely enjoy this.
 
The fact Origin8 just tweeted to Shahid about discussing a 'Best on Vita' version of something suggests maybe Transport Tycoon will potentially make it's way over?

Obviously not the game we're talking about here but damn if that happens.

He can only mean GTA vita... Right? Surely Japanese gaming fans don't want more than an rpg. Hopefully. They've done enough damage as is.

this man gave me some hope for a new Alundra when he mentioned it during the #VitaJRPG thing
i know that he's just saying that but if sony decided to bring Alundra back to life that would be HUGE for me and i'll get vita for it

I've only asked for games that already exist. I just want them localized (or ported in the case of PSP games).

As for games that don't exist? As much as I'd want a new GTA, it's not the type I'd care for on a handheld. I'd much rather want it on PS3 or PS4. If fully compatible with Vita TV then go for it

About GTA, it's weird. I would much rather a bigger one existed. Of course. But I'd be way more excited for a good Vita version, especially with how good the psp versions played. I'm not in any rush though, won't kill expectations entirely either.
 
How would Type-0 or Valkyria Chronicles 3 be improved at all by being on the Vita? Would Sega and SE go to all that trouble to soup up the graphics on those two games?

Being improved isn't the main thing. Sure I'd want an improvement if they happened. A cleaner look, better/smoother framerate and maybe taking advantage of the second analog would be quite useful. Slightly improved graphics would be ideal, but not really necessary.

The important thing is getting them at all. Any and all improvements are secondary
