Yes. It makes as much sense as Disney releasing licensed tie-in games. It's easy money.
Aside from that, there really isn't a definitive version of P3. FES is close, but it's missing the female route and system changes in P3P. P3P's presentation is severely neutered and the original game already wasn't a cinematic stunner or anything, so you really felt that you were missing something. (At least I did.)
All that is a pretty good argument to do one more version of P3, I think.
I hope Atlus recognizes this. I know there's people who have played P3 in all its incarnations but I'd like to have something akin to Golden for P3.... and a localized Eternal Punishment PSP while they're at it.
You will be disappointed.
I'm so excited~
Most likely p3 movie related.
Maybe three characters from p3 movie added to the p4a2 roster?

After a quick search it turns out I was wrong on the reasoning but 4G did indeed start out as a PSP game.No they weren't, Hashino literally said that there wouldn't be a persona 4 portable. He was kinda pissed that he had to downgrade the experience for the PSP(iirc). Once Vita came around, they decided to port it to that because they wouldn't have to make sacrifices.

Both were made on June 25, by Index Corporation, under a similar domain service. The P5 domain was registered on Onamae, and the P-ch one was registered on their own domain hosting. Sure, this could just be a coincidence, but I find it odd that with a P5 domain being registered same day, with the only difference being domain hosting, that P5 won't be announced. P5's site, when translated says "This domain has been registered for use", meaning that all Atlus would have to do is officially open the site when ready. Either way, since onamae has a domain buying option, and makes you select the years you want the site open for, it's safe to assume this domain was made for a year, all in order to reveal P5, and then will redirect to a site on Atlus' main site once open.
This is just what I think, so don't take this as fact just yet. What do you guys think?
Holy Sh**I just did a whois on the domain, and I found something very odd, or at least, and odd coincidence. Take a look.

I would be disappointed if the game was for this generation (PS3 generation I mean). P3 and P4 made sense on the PS2 because they could reuse a lot from the other PS2 SMT games (demons and stuff). I think it would be better if they jumped to next gen (including 3DS and Vita) and then reuse that work for future games.

I have a feeling one of the games in the boxes are Persona 5, especially with the similar domains, and exact same registration dates, and everything else.
My guesses are:
Persona 3 3DS (Because on Nintendo's E3 2010 spreadsheet, we saw Persona 3DS, SMT, and EO, all have made way to a Nintendo platform besides "Persona 3DS")
P4U2 Arcade locations and release date (Makes sense with the Japanese locations on the site, e.g. Fukuoka)
P5 (Just a guess. Atlus would want to save the best for last, when we least expect it)
Three boxes.
iOS has three letters.
Ha!!
Please be on next gen.
I fully expect it to be developed as a current gen game but I hope they port it up.
Hey guys, remember this concept art:

I think that we as a society need to come together and agree that countdown sites longer than a week are a terrible idea and should not be allowed.

Sorry to break it to you guys but the image belongs to a light novel that Soejima worked on. I can't remember the exact name of the book, but the English version of his art book mentioned that it belonged to it.
Technically, not a countdown. It's just a date. The site could be updated well before this date.
its genjin dante mike omg u dont even no who soejima is.
And I think it will be.
If it is Persona 5, and I am assuming with the domain post it is...will this be localized?
I am asking a very serious question now that Sega owns Atlus. Always have concern when Sega's involved, friends.
